Whats crazy is that it's usually the opposite. Failed players in the NFL or college, especially those with high IQ and retain info... usually make the best coaches.

It usually guys who run into a ceiling on their physical ability. They can compensate by being smarter and more prepared for only so long.

They didn’t really fail. Most probably over achieved to even get a shot.
