Reynolds on NCAA

A-Rod suspension coming, Miami's NCAA news maybe coming ... yep, sounds like shark week.

The NCAA should write a letter of apology to us and the entire college football nation for being a corrupt - and worse - incompetent body of bureaucratic asshats. And grant Miami an extra 4 scholarships per year for the next three years.

Obviously I kid but in all seriousness, Emmert, being the f*ckwad blowhard that he is, and feeling cornered by critics, will hit us with something.

"Lower your flags and march straight back to NCAA-land, stopping at every Cane home you pass by to beg forgiveness for seemingly a hundred years of playoff game theft, mind rape, and horsesh*t recruiting fodder negging. Do that and your Emmert minions shall live. Do it not, and every one of you will die today."

15 over 3 would mean that we have already taken 2 years at only 80 players, so only one year to go, or is that wrong?

Hear Miami's terms.

Lower your flags, march straight back to Indianapolis stopping at every small program you penalized while keeping a blind eye to all of your protected $chools who cheat with impunity, beging forgiveness for one hundred years of theft rape and murder. Do that, and your men shall live, do it not, and every one of you will die today.

No we not self imiposed, but rather have lost people in spring which put us around 80 each season. I remember counting 84 last year after 2012 signing day.

I think I remember Golden saying that they limited contact and visits with recruits and that may be the self imposing that we did on the recruiting side. Don't think we shorted ourselves on the number of recruits as Andrew intimates.

5 a year is ALOT considering what we have already done to ourselves and their ineptitude. Sounds like too much to me but I wouldn't it pass those ****gobblers!
15 over 3

Hoping that's about what we get.. No more bowl bans & the NCAA can save a little face w/ their botched investigation.

It is a significant amount.. but it's better than 30/3 or worse (which was originally speculated to be). Regardless of the NCAA being terrible at their jobs, we are guilty of some major violations..

the worst part of the sanctions being announced.. we will most likely hear from that jail bird again

Could we not have said we were self imposing 3-5 in 2013? We only brought in 19 and our total count is below 80.

in a perfect worldm what should happen: Time served and a big apology to Miami

realistically what should happen: 3-5 scholarships per year for 3 years, probation, other minor recruiting limitations

what will probably happen: 5 scholarships per year for next 3 years and 1 year post season ban, miami appeals gets post season ban reversed, scholarship reduction stays.

I got this feeling the NCAA will try to save face by over sanctioning knowing that an appeal will get some punishments reduced
