Recruiting could be much worse...

Program building isn't just for the here and now, either. Next year is going to be a blood bath. You can see it coming. We are coming off of a likely 6-7 season and a 7-6 season. There are STUDS in the SFL next year, especially the skill positions. They are not going to sign up for this dumpster fire. We will be in the high 20's next year. The wheels are going to fall off if they haven't already on the trail

Miami always drops or doesn’t pursue guys that are So called not Miami quality. Those same guys kick Miami’s *** every year and we are stuck reaching for guys that are worst and playing walk ones.

The only way O line recruiting will improve between Xmas and the February signing day is getting rid of Enos/Barry immediately after the last LOI comes in today

Whiffed on guys that been had long term relationships elsewhere or took a bag. Stubbs ate, Hickson ate, Enos got a good one, Rumph showing he is not good nationally and we were weak local (db class in SoFla), Banda did aight, Stroud ate, Fields supplemental but needs to deliver on a big fish, Barry got a big fish and a developmental but should learn to look deeper than just the top 100 OL.

It would be nice to have a staff that survived long enough to build relationships. Or brought in ones that had established ones.

this class has some gems - but again we will need to portal to shore up the holes.
and 2021 is the class we will pay dearly for....so save your agony til then.

it's a matter of getting positions of need. that's the point. you are right, we got some good talent in this class, but getting another 2 awesome RB's, some good WRs etc will keep our ranking high. not going to complain about those players, but

Considering the BIGGEST POSITIONS of need for this class were OL, LB and CB, this class is a failure. We have 2 OL committed, with 1 being a developmental guy. We have 2 LBS committed, with 1 being not the most atheltic. We have 1 CB committed who is also a developmental guy. We were expecting to take 4-5 OL, 4 LBS and 3 pure CBs. Massive failure!

This.

People get hung up on the class rating but it's more important to fill the needs of your roster.

For example, What good are 15 5-star RBs if they're running behind trash OL and you have barely enough CBs to run a scrimmage.

All should be returning next year. We just need to bring In a portal CB who can potentially start and hit CB hard next year.

Everyone returns on the O-Line so they should be better but yes we need to hit the portal for at least two

We return almost everyone next year and it will be Diaz second season. I don't think we're going to be that bad next year. We have enough talent to win 10 games so hopefully we can get a 9 win season

Didn't Frierson bulk up to over 200 lbs. to play Striker this season? You think he's going back to CB with Finley graduating?? Doubtful.
