Morris missed a couple of open receivers, the over throw to waters in the end zone was the worst but it can be fixed.

offense was rusty last year as well at this time..dont put to much into it I would say.

Morris being healthy is the most important thing this spring. Since the dawn of football, the defense has been better than the offense out of the gate (except for maybe us last year)

It'll be nice when they come in looking like that and they still have to redshirt because of the kids in front of them. True freshmen playing OL/DL should not happening every year. Good to hear the defense showed up. They should be ahead of the offense this time of year.

Figuero impressing just makes me want EJ back even more. The competition between them would make both of them that much better.

Oh and.....I'm already very worried about our WRs. I was skeptical from the start with Brennan Carrol taking over the WRs even though he had zero experience coaching/playing WR.

Our WRs have all the talent, they just need to be more polished. I'm concerned that Carroll isn't a coach who can provide that.

There is one thing Dorsett needs to focus on...catching the football. He does everything else well--consistently.

Well to be fair it was a 10am scrimmage. I had hoped to be there myself. Then the night called me. And i gave in to the darkness.

I agree! I think BC is not the answer. McDonald improved our units tremendously. I think we will see a big drop off with BC

I mean, if youre a receiver you either can catch the ball or you cant. Sure there are some techniques here and there that can help with that, but ultimately it comes down to can you fuggin catch or not. One of the last things a WR coach should have to worry about with kids that have been playing WR their whole lives should be teaching them to catch the ball. WR should already know how to do that. WR coaches are for teaching kids route running, reading overages, finding spots, amongst a slew of other things.
