Ray-Ray Armstrong to file injunction

Just another distraction for this team as they get ready to open the season. He can sue all he wants, at the end of the day he will not play a down at Miami.

Maybe golden would like him back but felt his hand was forced with all that's going on around the program.

Why doesn't he transfer? That's what would make the most sense, he can still play, just not at Miami.

Wasn't he kicked off for violation of TEAM Rules and not NCAA Rules. How and why would the NCAA have grounds to supersede a written, posted, listed team rule.

I do not see how or why the NCAA or even the court system have to get involved.

Why would Ray Ray even want to come back? He knows he's not wanted and wouldn't get a fair shot most likely.

This is just a bad situation for everyone.

Says who? I haven't seen much hostility with the Ray Ray situation at all. I'm sure Golden would have a team meeting "if the NCAA was ok with it of course, wink, wink" and put him right back and make him play with the 3rd stringers for a bit. Maybe they knew this would be the procedure to take to cover their *** with the NCAA.

Ray Ray was about to breakout IMO. It would be nice to ease the other safeties in slowly with Ray Ray and VT as 1st stringers.

How is this not a bad situation? Ray Ray was kicked off the team by Golden for repeated dumbassery. Ray Ray had multiple opportunities to get his **** together and he didn't. Golden was fed up and gave him the boot. You think Ray Ray filing a lawsuit is gonna make Golden forget why he was given the boot? I don't.

Also, Ray Ray ready to break out? If I recall from the spring game he was still looking bad out there. What makes you think he was ready to break out?

Golden was constantly mentioning Ray Ray as having the best Spring of anybody. He may not have shined yet but plenty of the talent hadn't shined like they were supposed to under Randy and co. The only reason Ray Ray is gone is because of NCAA pressure which I don't even agree with. Like I said in another post, it isn't any of the NCAA's business who Ray Ray is dating.

Having Ray Ray back sure as **** wouldn't hurt.

Repeated dumbassery is missing summer workouts and the first 4 practices of fall. Who Ray Ray shacks up with and goes to dinner with one night is not the NCAA's business. What he did on the internet may have been stupid at the wrong time but he doesn't deserve to be kicked off the team for it Senior Season after he stuck with the team and didn't try to go pro like the other juniors who declared.

So we're going to ignore his repeated transactions because he made the right choice not to go pro early?

Inner city logic: No accountability, no responsibility and no consequences.

Continuing to do stuff and post pictures of him doing that stuff on social media when the coaches told him to stop is dumbassery. Best for both parties to move on.
