none of these guys outside of gunter -- who has very low upside -- has shown much of anything on the field.

imo tracy looks a bit small and tentative especially for someone rated as highly as he was. but corner always proves a steep curve. crawford is interesting because of his size but also looked a bit lost. i have no idea which will end up being better.

I'll say this about our true freshmen corners and true freshmen in general. Usually, the farther you get from the ball/center the easier it is for a true freshman to make an impact.

So yes, they were true freshmen, and they should have had learning curves like all freshmen, but the learning curve isn't as steep as a DL or OL because it's less physical outside.

Its a toss-up between Howard, Crawford, and Gunter right now..... Just depends on the type of corner u prefer imo.
