For those of you saying we aren't after Quincy
"Wilson said three schools, Miami (Fla), Florida and Alabama, are recruiting him the hardest."
That's what he said in the new espn insider article http://insider.espn.go.com/blog/ncfrecruiting/on-the-trail/post?id=34143
So lets all relax and let the coaching staff do their jobs

What people need t nderstand is when you dont offer early but are on a player extremely hard then they are looking out for him by tryig to get him better as a player. They see big upside with Quincy but they don't see what he can be yet so they're coaching him up and giving advice instead of kissing his *** and that shows a real coaching staff who tries to get the best out of him even before the offer

Think about it people. With as weak as weve been a safety lately if Golden thought this kid was real good he would have already offered. Golden wants another guy like deon bush.

This says otherwise

Cornerback/safety Quincy Wilson of Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) University School has over 30 offers, but he has yet to eliminate one school.
“I don’t have any favorites, but I will narrow my list in the future,” Wilson said. “The coaching staff, who I think is recruiting me the hardest, early playing time, and academics will play into my decision. I won’t decide until after my senior year season.”
So, who is recruiting the coveted 6-foot-2, 195-pound defensive back the hardest?
“Right now, it’s LSU, Notre Dame, Florida, South Carolina, and Ohio State,” Wilson said. “Alabama and USC haven’t offered me yet, but they might be close. I hear from them quite a bit.”
Wilson keeps in contact with the Irish and likes what the staff is telling him.
“I’m actually talking to Coach [Tony] Alford right now,” Wilson said. “We’re talking on Facebook. We just keep in touch and he asks me how my day went. He tells me I’m a good player that’s fast and can cover. He says it’s rare to find a corner that’s my height. I know Notre Dame is a good academic school with great tradition. They had great season last year.”
Wilson’s dad, Chad Wilson, played for the University of Miami. However, the Hurricanes aren’t in this race.
“Miami is not recruiting me,” Wilson said.
Wilson has visited Florida, Ohio State, and Auburn so far, but nothing is set in stone for the near future.
“I’m not sure where I’m going this spring,” he said. “I’m probably visiting Ohio State, LSU, and Tennessee this summer. I’m not sure who else yet. I’m trying to figure out when I’m going to visit Notre Dame.”
When the time does come to formulate a working list, does Notre Dame have a good shot of being included?

Kid has no offer . Dnofrio is in charge of recruiting his region so it comes as no surprise. Kid plays for the State Champs father played for the U. Leader of the defense of the South Fla Express, has offers from all the big schools, yet no contact from the Hurricanes

Oh yes there is. How many kids have we signed from the FTL area that Dnofrio has been responsible for? Hamilton,Dorsett, and Coley were not recruited by him. Wilson has absolutely not been contacted by the Hurricanes despite what that ESPN article reads. Don't believe everyting you see out there. As of 3/7/13 the kid has not been contacted by Miami and there is a slim to none chance he signs here.

Maybe we're not recruiting him because we don't want him
