I think I'm not going to pay too much attention to all the recruiting news around this kid.
Come signing day If he is in awesome.
 
Jobe being a gigantic diva/flake makes it even more important that Mike Rumph lands the kid who was quoted as calling him a "mentor". Campbell gives us all the flexibility in the world with kids like Blades and Frierson, who are good enough to contribute at either CB or S. We know Hall will be a beast at safety and Ivey is going to be a lockdown guy at corner - landing Campbell would be the safeguard against Jobe being this year's "I'm too good for Miami" guy. Pete is as plugged in as it gets but when kids behave the way he's behaving, I don't think anyone truly knows what's going on - including all the coaching staffs directly speaking with him, his friends, mentors, etc.
 
I don't get why we bash recruits on this board who are committed and in the class. Who cares what they put on their social media. They are still committed.

At no point could I be this rustled and scared over freaking recruiting. Even worse taking the time to create multiple accounts to troll. Either way it's a bad look

Little known fact: Pat Surtain, Jr. attended more UM games than any other 2018 recruit.

How am I scared for pointing out that Jobe clearly likes Bama and has legit interest in them? Oh wait, you guys are right. Pete has never been wrong before. Jobe is a lock even though he's constantly talking about Bama!

Again, I ask: when did CIS become such a sunshine pumping board? Pretty sad that people can no longer disagree with Pete's gospel without being labeled "scared" or a "troll."
 
Can't ever put my finger completely on it but it seems as if certain posters love it when Pete is wrong or want him to be wrong.

Whether they are fans still hurting from the past 10-15 years, trolls, or guys who wish they were insiders doesnt matter to me at this point.

Pete has earned enough credibility at this point for us to listen to him. We all know recruiting is not exact and things change at the last moment (Henderson).

How do we know Jobe isn't trolling Bama? I mean for once maybe out guys are starting to troll other teams than the other way around. Richt isn't dumb enough to know he cannot stop recruiting Jobe no matter what especially going against Saban which he's done for many many years

I assure you I am not one of those people. I just feel like everyone is ignoring the obvious with Jobe just because Pete says he's pretty much a lock. I don't get it.

Jobe very well could be trolling Bama, who knows? Doesn't seem that way since he "shut it down," but then he basically opened it back up just to troll? Doesn't really make much sense to me.

No I'm not saying you are and I definitely agree with you to say one thing and then to Do complete opposite and pictures and tweets or Vines whatever you call them definitely needs to be looked at as if he's not a hundred percent solid

He was on the Periscope app (live video) with a friend or relative who was bashing Miami and saying he was going to Alabama. Jobe didn't combat it or say anything, only laughed. Jobe's friend told the audience that Jobe's decision was not personal but it was a business decision, that Jobe told Saban he wants a ring and that Bama would smash Miami.
