What Pete and others have said countless times is the truth, if you worry about every social media post and are someone who can't handle recruiting (re: you), stay away from this recruitment.

buddy was periscope this evening with his mom(i think) and either his friend or maybe brother. whoever the other guy there with them kept saying he's going to alabama...asking where all the bama fans at. said something about saban, how its not personal, just a business decision. JJ already told hi. he wants a ring, bama would smash miami. JJ never refuted any of this, he just would laugh.

no one committed to alabama would have their people on video with them dissing bama in favor of another school, yet he's doing it to miami.

good indication of not being a solid commit in the slightest.

I think in the end, as long as we have a strong, 10+ win season, Jobe will be a Cane. However, another disappointing season and there is a good chance he doesn't end up here. Why is that such a difficult thing for you and many others to accept? That's been the case for years and won't change just because we have a better staff: while some are die-hard and will be Canes no matter what, to get most top recruits you need to win. Period.

This is the exact type of **** I'm talking about. Kid is not a lock in any sense of the word. Be careful, though. Pointing out the obvious about Jobe's recruitment won't sit well around these parts.

Look at you putting more words into my mouth. I don't hate Pete, but he has been wrong before, which is why I'm so confused as to why everyone seems to be taking his word on Jobe as gospel, especially considering Jobe has clearly been taking other coach's calls (I believe Pete said he wasn't, yes? If I'm wrong there then my bad). Don't play dumb though, you clearly implied Jobe's flirtations with Bama could simply be chalked up to liking attention. While that's likely part of it, it seems pretty safe to say he has legit interest in Bama.

Also, I think you should keep reading my post history. Just like this, I said Blades would end up at Miami, but simply suggested it seemed Blades' interest in Tennessee was legit. In hindsight, it was completely ridiculous to think that about Blades, but if you honestly think that the two situations are the same or even similar, you are clueless. I admitted to overreacting to the UT visit, I ate my crow; however, last time I checked, Jobe isn't a quadruple legacy who was already a Cane before he came out of the womb.
