QBS in the Portal as of 11/28

It’s going to be very disappointing when we don’t end up with a qb and in February we know our ceiling is 6 wins.

Side note just look at how many balls Emory got batted down against FSU and Clemson then against Iowa st. Zero improvement.

I will be massively disappointed with emory

but we're not going to win just 6 wins with him, that's dramatic

but to the second point, it's ridiculous to see someone who is 6'5, who has a massive and talented OL and been in a system for 2 years get so many balls batted down.

I think Beck can bounce back. he had bad wr's who lead nations in drops, not a great running game, and bobo is just not it. a chance of scenery might make it work.

I’ve said it numerous times, but I don’t think it can be stated enough. Mario and company sure did **** up the QB portal search this year. Inexcusable and embarrassing especially with the selling point of our offense. Mario is too **** arrogant for his own good sometimes.

At this point I’m all for it but the fact that we would have to start a true freshman at QB because Wario did not want/wasn’t able to land a portal QB and capitalize from the Cam Ward experience is an indictment of how ****ed Miami is as long as he is the HC.

I’m just genuinely confused as what the plan was/is.

The plan probably started and stopped with Mateer, why they thought we didn’t need to upgrade from Emory regardless and what happened next with all the good QBs that came and passed in the portal I don’t know.

The Maiava situation showed how to desperate they are now and that tells me there is no plan in place at this moment. Living on a prayer.

Doesn’t seem great right now, but seeing as the portal season hasn’t even finished yet, makes sense to see how it plays out. Just because we haven’t gotten anybody yet, doesn’t mean we won’t. And, not every QB that’s already gone someplace else is going to be a stud.
