I know he has 5 days, but I was more wondering whether something could actually develop on that front. The past tense made it seem like it wasn’t an option, but now I’m thinking $ could change some things.

Clemson made a similar choice with Klubnick when DJU started to brainfart, it wasn’t good from the beginning but now he is a player.

Clemson and Dabo had the luxury of riding the wave and waiting for returns on that investment of time. If we start Nickel and win 7 games, the narrative will go south quickly and I’m not sure our recruiting/NIL would be able to recover. It is imperative that we win 9+ again next year.

Real talk. If this is the direction this thing is going then they need to go overpay for a stud RB. Strong defense and a pound the rock is the only hope they have.

4. NFL draft-declarers who pull a Cam Ward

I'm not saying it's ideal, but there's still time on the clock before we have to spring forward to the next portal window.
