There aren't a whole lot of great options at this point. Certainly not any close to ward's level of play. We were definitely spoiled with Cam ward. We will miss him greatly next year.

That strategy is still a good one imho, the problem is we didn’t go all in on transfers QBs yet and many good players came and passed.

Kind of my point. You aren't always going to hit when looking for one, you'll also be going up against a gang of other schools that need one. Going until year 4 we should have a talented recruited and developed QB waiting in the wings to take over.
