We have gone hard after two guys that I know of. Both passed. And we didn't exactly offer chump change. I heard Mario has between $2-4mm/year to play with. The fact we cannot get a quarterback with that type of capital tells me the ACC suck tax is massive. The conference is killing us.

Always wonder with a low level guy is it worth the risk for them if they already at least have a draft able grade to risk it stepping up to bigger comp.

It's between the ears. Confidence, smarts, etc.

What we saw from Emory is a guy that can't handle this level of College Football. It's too much. Plays too tight. Late on decision making. Just lacks confidence in what he's doing. Game is going to fast.

Where Emory is at on the developmental curve is G5 or FCS where he can get the kid glove treatment of slowly incorporating the offense with him. He's got no special physical traits. So it needs to between the ears and grit. Game is way too much for him.
