QBS in the Portal as of 11/28

He’s surrounded by more talent than any qb in the country and he struggled against the only defense he played this year and twice. And that UGA defense is very meh by their standard.

He’s very inconsistent and needs that huge talent advantage around him to be this effective. He’s also a bad fit for Dawsons offense. I think he’s a pretty good qb and would be ok if he’s the guy . I just prefer somebody like Mendoza more. Ewers like Beck is just a big name. Both overrated as ****. Jmo.
Any rumblings on Sawyer Robertson? With Finn leaving now, IDK if Robertson would also bolt, now the job is his again
How do you think he'd fit in Dawson's Offense?

Ewers is nowhere in Cam’s stratosphere. Ewers is surrounded with as much talent in the country and still struggles at times. Missing easy *** throws. He’s been an enigma . Mendoza has never had talent around him or good protection. Plus he has two years.
I completely agree with this. Ewers would do well here, I think, but I’ve also never been high on him. Like you said, he misses easy throws that’ll boggle the mind.

For Mendoza, he didn’t have anything other than an injured Ott and their TE. That’s it. Horrible OL and bad WRs. Even then he has good numbers and could do well with actual talent around him.

I think Carson Beck would be great here.

IDGAF what he looks like. He’s significantly better than what we currently have. We need Hannah to recruit him down here.
I’m just being a hater. I live outside of Athens now and talked a lot a **** about Beck and the Dawgs. Going to be hard to back peddle!!! He’s proven he can come back and win games so that’s a plus.

He’s was the best qb in the big 12 by the end of the season he’s going to have draft hype going into next season

And he was getting hammered as he was making throws and running for his life almost every play

I think Ewers could benefit from a fresh start tbh.

If he were to transfer here, there's way less pressure here than there is at Texas. I think he'd do good here imo.
