200k followers. He’s a topic of conversation so I just shared it.
Yeah I didn’t mean that as a shot at you or anything, I know they tweeted the thing about him considering returning earlier and it’s made the rounds on Twitter so just didn’t know if I was missing anything.

All good. I’m not sure, but like most rumors, theres probably some smoke and some bs. The numbers wild. But It does make sense that he’s probably going to return to college next year and it won’t be Texas. And I would wager back door convos have been had and probably with a big 10 team or 2

I may be wrong, but I think revenue sharing starts in 2025, so all the major schools have an additional $15 million to spend in addition to NIL. Still crazy to give about 10% of your budget to someone like Ewers.

Can anyone name 1 advantage Oklahoma provides other than continuity with his OC?

Very highly debatable if Arbuckle (who I like) is even an advantage to Dawson who just keeps pumping out NFL QBs, a number 1 offense, and has credit for identifying multiple lower rated guys that he didn’t get to coach (Mac Jones and Stetson Bennett).

WR - Miami (do they even have any?)
OL - Not even close - Miami
RB - not even close - Miami
TE - not even close - Miami

I’m not sold that he’s such an upgrade over Emory. I think if that’s the QB option then I’d rather see the money spent on two starting higher quality CBs
I agree. I'm willing to give Mario the benefit of the doubt. But I just haven't seen any evidence he's going that route at CB.

I think Mendoza is Emory's ceiling. That's best case scenario for him, and I don't think he'll hit it.

People act like Emory was an underrated hidden gem. But he was supposed to be the second QB we took in that class. We took Jacurri the class before his and Judd the class after. There was literally no competition. Best of the worst is still bad.

I just don't see how we can start Mendoza or Emory without making major changes to our offensive philosophy.
