Based on how things were looking last year, he was very close to being QB1 going into camp. Now that he knows Miami is looking for a QB in the portal again, it doesn't make much sense for him to stick around with only 1 year of eligibility left.

Will be interesting to see what happen with Weigman. Idk what happened to him this year, maybe it was a lot of injuries he was pushing through. But dude is a 5star and last year I would have definitely gone in for him…

A QB with 2 years and the intention to use both (so gunna be a sophomore or RS SO) would be very ideal if we are being honest. That is how you ensure the 26 class is fully confident. Like if Cam Ward had another year here does anyone question we would have a **** load of momentum right now…

I mean I’m not gunna necessarily choose a worse qb with 2yrs over a guy looking to go Ward route of raising his draft stock to become a first rounder… but if it’s a coin toss…
