me as well, but that's a long slow release on his passes.(pause if needed)The idea of KJ is really growing on me. His OL this season was a giant **** sandwich and he still managed to play decently well.

They are expecting a 4 time national champion and 3 time Heisman winner to be in the portal of course. Not sure what you were expecting
agreedthat's fine, not overly impressed with what he put up.
Ah, a dual threat IS simply a guy who has legs, mobility, and can extend plays or house one. Nothing overblown about having a QB who is an athlete. We at minimum need a QB who is at least a threat to run and/or has the mobility to extend plays. The whole 'dual-threat' to me is incredibly overblown.
This is the exact reply I'd expect from a casual fan. We threw the ball more times this year than FSU and they are widely considered to have one of the most prolific offenses in the country. All this "safe floor" talk is Mario's love language. Gives him the ammo he needs to play his "safe" and "conservative" offense.
Hope we get a game changer in the portal who inspires confidence for a fast and aggressive offense and not just a "safe floor" guy.
Throwing more or less doesn't define fast and aggressive or safe and conservative. That's "casual fan" talk. This is the exact reply I'd expect from a casual fan. We threw the ball more times this year than FSU and they are widely considered to have one of the most prolific offenses in the country.
Completely differently QB'sI'm thinking KJ needs to be the guy.
Could be our Penix.
Biggest advantage to me, if we plug in a guy who has the threat to pull it and run, it would go a long way to solving our short yardage and red zone issues. It felt like we could get every 2nd and 1, but 3rd and 1 and 4th and 1 we seemed to get stonewalled a lot even behind our elite OL because we were so predictable. We at minimum need a QB who is at least a threat to run and/or has the mobility to extend plays. The whole 'dual-threat' to me is incredibly overblown.
Not even remotely close. I'm talking in terms of impact and recovery from a less than stellar season at a previous destination.Completely differently QB's
You are setting up yourself for disappointment here, I'm not saying that Miami can't have a shot but there will be so many suitors with a more appealing resume on offense (Oregon and Washington for example) than UM.Mario better close the deal here
Dude can pick his spot and put an empty check for NIL down to fill the zeroes on itYou are setting up yourself for disappointment here, I'm not saying that Miami can't have a shot but there will be so many suitors with a more appealing resume on offense (Oregon and Washington for example) than UM.
Or what?Mario better close the deal here
