From the FSU side on Ward

Florida State hosted blue-chip quarterback target Cameron Ward on Thursday and Friday, with the Texas native and Incarnate Word/Washington State transfer taking in his second official visit of the week after spending a similar amount of time at Miami.

One aspect of the visit that I felt was huge going into it: It was going to be as much about Ward answering questions for FSU as it was FSU answering questions for Ward. Both parties want to make sure this could be a good fit – DJ Uiagalelei arrived to Tallahassee for his official visit late on Friday and gets to campus in the late morning-early afternoon, so FSU has options as it vets what to do at QB – and I am confident that the exit concluded with each side feeling very comfortable with other.

That’s huge.

Various sources from FSU’s side expressed that Ward was attentive, thoughtful, and asked a ton of questions (in a good way). I believe that the staff generally loved what it saw from Ward regarding how he carried himself.

As for the Ward perspective, we’re hoping to get up with him today. There were meetings ongoing between Ward and FSU well into Friday evening, and he left very early on Saturday morning to head home to the Houston area. But early feedback we’ve received is that FSU believes it checked off the boxes needed to be in legitimate competition for Ward.

Miami apparently felt good following its OV with Ward, and FSU seems to be in a similar boat. And with a potential OV still to go for Ward – we’ll see if that happens, and if so, where – this recruitment has the potential to be fun down the stretch.

But my big takeaway: FSU likes Ward, a lot. I wasn’t sure that would totally be the case exiting the OV, so that’s a significant data point in my mind. My inclination is that the feeling is reciprocated.
All these for fee insiders love to make up stuff and ultimately say nothing.

The visit to FSU makes no sense. If both parties aren't truly interested what was the point of it? If he was evaluating his options I would have expected him to go to a better program. Maybe he's not receiving as much interest due to the high NIL demands?

Its just truly confusing. Really want to know the thought process and what kind of things are going on behind the scenes of his camp

People always say stuff like this but they never point out In N Out is the quality and great service it is at like half the price to all these places it's always compared to.
Lmao. I get great quality and service from Whataburger. Waited in line for 30 minutes at In-N-out. People always try to rationalize why this chain is so good, sorry, not.

If Ward wasn’t about the most NIL money and wanted to be coached by the better coaches (FSU’s words -not mine)…then go Pro. Dont waste time in Tally. This choice would be a wasted year for him.

But if Ward wanted a high level NIL deal, to better his game and draft stock, play behind a beast mode O Line…then choose UM.

The fsu choice just seems dumb. It seems like Ward’s best choice is UM or Pro.

#1 portal qb. Bad business to make a visit 1 and done. Especially a kid that was under recruited and never took multiple visits.

I have a media friend that covers Auburn. They're definitely sniffing around the quarterbacks. Payton Thorne is solid but has a limited ceiling and they've got a huge NIL backing this offseason for Freeze.

Two people with possible inside knowledge with completely opposite takes in back to back posts. If that ain’t CIS I don’t know what is.
