Ward/ Howard came in a visit. Both left. They are the only transfer QBs to visit. Then we wait on them and only them. Must be that if these 2 say no we roll with what we have. Seems clear

Doesn't seem clear at all. There are a hundred quarterbacks available for the right price. There are guys that aren't even in the portal that would be willing to make a few million dollars. The fact that we are wanting QB's in the portal tells you that we WONT roll with what we have.

I'm sitting here in the office, just got out of a meeting with "important people" who run things but have no idea what I do.
I had to re-explain a process twice. The first time I figured I'd dumb it down so a layperson can understand it. Apparently my opinion of the average layperson is too high. So the second time, I thought of this thread and explained it like I would to some of our more challenged posters.

That's my thought.

Living here in DC, I can tell you being "only a Fifth Rounder" poisoned the well against Howell. Even over the mid-season three game stretch where he played very well, he never enjoyed the confidence of many. After that when he fell apart, Howell just confirmed all the doubts. Had he been a First or Second Rounder, maybe a diff story.
