Who are the big time qbs out there? There really aren’t any. It’s going to be a guy that has ability but most fans won’t be happy about and then he comes here and balls. Most qbs have been like that in the portal. Hooker, penix, nix, daniels, burrow and etc wasn’t consider to be elite qbs when they hit the portal. There isn’t another cam out there. Going to have to take a weigman, stone, salter, arnold and get there best out of them

Holstein just transferred to pitt, Jennings not leaving, morris is a senior. Bailey no. Mensah is intriguing

I agree SMU would pay whatever they have to to keep Jennings. Morris has another year left I believe because he has a Covid year and only played 4 games in ‘21.

I think Holstein is the only one good enough to play at Miami. Maybe Jennings too.

I like Mensah but I don’t think he is good enough as a passer.

I don't like either lf those options actually. Ewers is overrated and Weigman has regressed since his freshman year.

Weigman was at 8 TDs 2 INTs last year before getting hurt


He’s terrible fit in Colin Klein offense this year, TrumpyCane thinks he’s pretty good but TrumpyCane just a stuffed bear so who knows

I think it's safe to assume @Memnon is quietly doing research in the lab, pouring in hours of analysis to ensure he selects the best fit. Afterwards he will

Kaidon Slater is having a down year but the potential is there if he enters the transfer portal.

Looked back at rankings since 2020 and there aren't going to be many (any?) top ranked retreads out there.

All of them fall into one of these categories:

Entrenched starter at a P5 school, and not leaving.
Multi year backup who hasn't played.
Transferred (usually to a group of 5 school).
Switched positions.
Quit football.

Not many options there.

If I could have any of them, realistic or not, give me Lagway. He'll have 2 more years of eligibility remaining. Taking him from UF would make a statement.

Portal QB over Emory. Even a D’Eriq King on this team would have us at 8-0, certainly no worse than 6-2. And our team overall should be much better next season.

If you think the team will be better why can’t Emory be qb1? He’ll have 3 years in the system and a year learning under cam.

We were very fortunate to land him.

He’s fortunate, too. He was a Day 3 pick before he got here.

Drones isnt a backup, I think he would excel here, Vtech is very Vanillia, have to think Cam is working him to come

Seth Henigan P4 schools were interested in the kid from Memphis last season. He is having a good year but He isn’t getting any draft buzz. Maybe he sticks around and gets a nice NIL deal next season.

Taylen Greene at Arkansas is a wild boy and plays all gas no brakes. Live arm. Twitched up athlete. But he has 7 INTs.

Obviously Mateer like everybody else said. He seems like a leader and can be dangerous in the run game.

Ewers is gonna transfer. No way he goes to the draft. I wouldn't mind him here.

Darian Mensah is a freshman at Tulane who has had some really impressive throws. I like taking him with multiple years.
