Profile of next DC

Belicheck. Convince him he should dip his toes is the waters of cfb before diving in and taking a big time P4 job. Gets to bang hotties on south beach.

Ed O and Belicheck could get their own tv show where they are college coordinators by day, and private investigators by night.

3. Nick Benedetto - NIU DC - Tried to limit it to P5 DCs but the numbers from him just stuck out and were hard to ignore. Top 15 across the board and has multiple years in a row of strong data and still improving on it. Rush defense is strong, pass D is strong, gets sacks and turnovers, limits points, and very good on 3rd down
Benedetto was the first name that jumped out to me too. Posted it in some thread but it was staggering the way most of the key defensive stats are trending there.

D'Anton Lynn is making $2mm at USC but maybe he sees it's a sinking ship with Riley.

Anyone have thoughts on Travis Williams at Arkansas? Looks like makes just over a million and has that defense trending the right way. Also may see the Pittman ship sinking.

I thought most of these assistant coaches are on one year contracts. Not the case for LG?

I just can’t imagine a world where the university has come this far money wise only to close up shop at a critical moment like this. MC has to get a serious dude for the next DC and that’s going to cost money. Otherwise, what the **** is the university really investing in?
he got extended with a raise last year

2. Bryant Haines - Indiana DC - Insane jumps at Indiana in year 1 across the board. Every category I considered he improved. I question their opponents but he's been great dating back to JMU. 4 or 5 consecutive top 10 defenses there too.

Big fan of these two. Haines has been attached to Cignetti at the hip at his previous HC stops and has produced very good defenses at every place he's been at.

Benedetto is the kind of guy you'd love to have as well. Young, has gotten his feet wet in FCS before moving up to D2 and has been successful wherever he's been. Played the game to, D2 but still played and I always prefer guys who played at some level to the nerds.

Would be over the moon with either guy honestly.

Really like Brad White and he maybe available if all those rumors of Stoops retiring and Sumrall replacing him actually happen. Dude is no nonsense and the LB play dramatically improve.

Another name I think is D’Anton Lynn from USC. Comes from the Ravens tree, defense at UCLA improved during his season there. USC looked better this past season. Been around the game his whole life as a dad is a former NFL HC and current OC, Anthony Lynn. Speciality is DB.

Ryan Walters is another name. He had good defenses at Illinois before flaming out at Purdue. Could help with Dillon Thieneman
What I like about Walter's is his specialty being db's. About as perfect a fit based on our current needs & team weakness. He can address it all simultaneously.

Is this the same Travis Williams that Diaz hired to be LB coach?

If so, have to say that is a pretty good job of identifying coaches. Lashlee became HC, T-Rob (co-DC UGA), T-Will (DC Arkansas), Baker (DC LSU).

Don’t take this personal but you may be retarded

1. Until miami is 100% eliminated from the CFP, which won’t happen until next week, they’re in a holding pattern regarding staff

2. If Mario wants the rich guys to keep bankrolling this program, Guidry will be fired.

Putting it another way, Miami would have to sneak into the CFP, and the entire defense would have to become possessed by the spirit of Sean Taylor…. AND win the natty for Guidry to not be fired
I can tell you’re old by your message lol. 😂 😂 😂.
