Don't forget about Ryan Mack and Dylan Day. Mack would have gotten snaps this season if he wasn't hurt. Day flashed when he got snapsI’d guess it’s Zaquan and Poyser at safety, Damari at Nickel, OJ/Brantley/Lucas at CB.
Still need another safety that can spell them and a Nickel to spell or compete with Damari. Cross training probably has Damari/Lucas able to play Safety as well. Dylan Day in the 2nd string and if Markeith sticks around.. that’s your DB room right there.
Plenty of snaps to go around to your top 3 boundary corners. Brantley has never finished a season healthy in college.
To keep all those great players on defense from jumping into the portal apparentlywhy is guidry here
He tackled like a blind man. #NoThanksWas going to say the same thing.
But he’s exposed now and it’s on tape. It might be too easy to target him.
Maybe you can get him by in a drive or 2 a game. Give him clear assignments and coach him on the sideline before he goes in so he knows exactly what is going on. Also he is good on STs.
Is this guy being brought in to play nickel? Hopefully so and let the Wisc kid n Frédérique own the outside spots. That would be a TIGHT secondary!!
I had Day in there. I think he’s a rotational safety/nickel.Don't forget about Ryan Mack and Dylan Day. Mack would have gotten snaps this season if he wasn't hurt. Day flashed when he got snaps
Our failure to recruit over guys like him has always been the issueWas going to say the same thing.

When my **** Cowboys took him and and the DE with back to back picks I was over the moon. Then we proceeded to not do **** with them and they didn’t even make it out of camp.mike jack still getting starts in the nfl
Dmoney mentioned him several times in practice reports and was on track to contributing. Hopefully he's 100% for winter workouts and spring ballI had Day in there. I think he’s a rotational safety/nickel.
I liked Mack out of HS but TBD on his injury and how he’s developed. Seems like he missed a full year of development
And Ivey. Much like there must always be a scapegoat inside Hecht, there must also be one on staff and one on the roster.People said the same **** about Knowles
Dramatic *** pussies here
PEOPLE SAID WE NEEDED FLAGG BACK THIS YEARAnd Ivey. Much like there must always be a scapegoat inside Hecht, there must also be on on staff and one on the roster.
I was the first person to ever post him on the board...But does @Memnon endorce?
Nah bro I can’t take another season seeing 7 in the secondary even as a role player. I need his replacement asap.It will be insanely unpopular but this is also where Jaden Harris was perfectly fine in 2023
He’s clearly not a starter but he was fine as a role player
Good luck with this staff finding replacementsNah bro I can’t take another season seeing 7 in the secondary even as a role player. I need his replacement asap.
I’ll be announcing after the Miami visit,” he said. “I visited Ole Miss and UCF, they were nice, and just went to Illinois. And my top two is Illinois and Miami.”
He says the task for UM’s coaches this weekend are to make him comfortable with this being a talented overall defense. He doesn’t want to be part of a group that doesn’t succeed overall.
“I don’t want it to be just me (making plays),” Brantley said.
I'm also curious about Isiah Thomas at S if he can bring us anything in a backup roleI had Day in there. I think he’s a rotational safety/nickel.

You don't do random my friend...I see yaHe was mentioned in the Bank yesterday for a reason. I think we have a great shot. Hopefully the visit goes well. It is beautiful here today.
Just roll with him and Day as 2nd string and get Harris the **** out of here.I'm also curious about Isiah Thomas at S if he can bring us anything in a backup role
True but if he’s only coming in for spells and not 80% plus plays it’s harder to scheme to attack a backup playerWas going to say the same thing.

I'd take a crackhead from Liberty City over Harris at this point no doubtJust roll with him and Day as 2nd string and get Harris the **** out of here.
