Last year guidry said he looked at damari as a nickel, then later on he said we dont have a true nickel. And eventually we had to move our best cb at the time from outside to nickel and started damari outside at uf.

Basically seemed like they tried meesh & damari at nickel, they weren’t good so they took the most trustworthy guy and moved him there. Ended up hurting us all year

If he's fully healthy this is far more than just solid. If this kid returns to form he's one of the better CBs in the P4

Depends what defense we run. Georgia had Aguero in the nickel and he’s 6’0 205 and you wouldn’t think he belongs similar to Damari. Some teams have the traditional nickel corners like Ponds.

I think we need Jordan Scruggs.

It’s crazy. If the accepted rumor is true that coaches did t pursue another CB in the portal last year to keep Damari out of the portal, shame on Mario and his staff. Damari and every other player that hasn’t done anything on the field needs to win and earn their position not be gifted it. And the team needs ballers not whiners.

Maybe… it’s definitely possible but this board does this way to often. You take middling players and elevate them to very good and then take very good and make them elite. Kid is a solid pickup and would make an impact but when you say one of the better CBs in P4 that says top 10 and I’m not sure he is that.

Lucas is young buck who has years to contribute. Brantley is a bridge gap to damari brown OJ and Lucas long term
