ProCanes 2015 NFL Combine

#UTough #Canes #TheU RT @RoadToRadioCity: #Miami TE Clive Walford with a 10' broad jump. Better than Gronk, Graham and Ebron, FWIW.

Clive is not as naturally athletic as Jimmy Graham, but he will be every bit as good as Gronk. He just needs a good QB.

What do you all think of Duke going to Minnesota? I would like to see him in that offense with Teddy B

The most impressive bench press total belonged to Miami left tackle Ereck Flowers. He led all the offensive linemen with 37 reps. Flowers (6-6, 329) plays with a lot of power, and his bench press total is even more impressive considering he has long arms (34 4/8 inches). Flowers could be on his way to being the star of the Combine along the offensive line.

Politically correct or nah?
@AbramsonPBP: Duke Johnson on #Canes coach Al Golden: "At the end of the day he’s going to take the blame because he’s the head coach. But it’s not him.”

yes, he's a class act. has been since day 1. born that way. he isn't going to throw golden under the bus, not his style.

imagine if this staff developed players.

they did you idiot.

hello Walford? Perryman?

they know how to develop. what they don't know is how to utilize.

It's sarcasm.

I'd bet Gunter, Flowers, Chickallo, and most of our players do better in the NFL than they did here. Obviously Duke will have a hard time doing better than he did here, same with Perryman.

barry jackson did the analysis of whether players from UM in the last few years have done better in the NFL than at UM. the answer has been no, except for one or two.

never understand the "official". A guy will be laser timed at 4.45 and 4.46 and than later it will be posted that his official time was 4.7 like that white wr from duke last year

Walford is definitely more of a pure TE.

O'Leary is like a Chris Cooley type of player (don't mean to insult Cooley like that).

Every Miami Player At The NFL Combine Is Wearing A Hurricanes Sticker Under Their Eye
http://collegespun.com/acc/miami-fl...-wearing-a-hurricanes-sticker-under-their-eye
Andrew Holleran

The Miami football program has not performed at an elite level in recent seasons, but the Hurricanes’ ability to produce NFL talent has not decreased.

There are currently eight former Miami student-athletes participating in the NFL Combine this week. It’s the third-highest total among ACC schools (Florida State has 12, Louisville has 11).

All eight players – DE Anthony Chickillo, WR Phillip Dorsett, OG Jon Feliciano, OT Ereck Flowers, CB Ladarius Gunter, RB Duke Johnson, ILB Denzel Perryman and TE Clive Walford – will be paying homage to their former program.

#Miami OL Ereck Flowers said all #Canes players are wearing a UM sticker under their eyes here at the Combine. “We all grew up loving UM.”

Here’s the sicker, sported by Flowers.

That’s a nice tribute to a program that clearly means a lot to its former players and the state of Florida. It’s time for the Hurricanes to start notching wins at a higher rate.
