Frank Gore is 3rd all time in rushing? How does this apply?
He played 16 seasons... but was he ever really dominant?? Believe me I'm not knocking Gore at all for what he accomplished but he was never the "Best running back of his time".... He was amazingly consistent ...
As I said in another post he should absolutely get in , I just wanted to hear what you thought based on the phrasing of your statement.... There's been plenty of players who got in due to longevity and the stats gained in doing so....

Extremely weak class. Gates is the only one deserving of the nomination. Eric Allen and Jared Allen were very good and put up some numbers, but not quite HOF in my opinion. With Sterling Sharpe getting in, Sean Taylor should be a lock based on their criteria.
It’s criminal that in this weak year that Willie Anderson is still left out. One of the three best right tackles in history who unfortunately spent his career playing for some truly awful cincy teams

If he was 13th all time in rushing he would have a hard case. I should have specified longevity alone. Jason Witten played 17 seasons he isn't a hall of famer.

Surprised Jarred and Eric got in over Eli.... I mean 2 Superbowl MVP's along with the longevity gotta stand for something doesn't it? By no means am I saying he's "The greatest QB ever" but he's done plenty to get in over the two ....
Eli is a lifetime .500 qb. 81 and 81 or something like that
