Pro Canes performing well for St. Louis

mcgee will be better than brandon harris..

that's not saying much. Essentially, he's not an undersized cb who still hasn't played much in the league, and the sight of Michael Floyd is still makes him suck his thumb and crawl into the fetal position.

This is awesome and depressing at the same time.

Every time I see Ray Ray make a play at the next level, I realize that nothing the NCAA could do to us could be worse than having to endure what was the Randy Shannon era.

Here is your weekly Ray Ray highlight. The talk is no longer about whether he will make the team. The talk is now about how good he can be.

It's crazy that people on here think he was that bad here.. The kid made 2nd team all acc his soph year and should of made 1st team. With 80 tackles and 4 int one for a TD.. His jr year was ruined before it started with NCAA stuff and caused him to miss 5 full games his fault of course and 1 for suspension on his own...

He was a decent safety, who was better in run support....because he really should have been a WLB. Could have been a really good player here if he had been put in the correct position from the begining. It was always clear that there was talent there, he just never seemed to have the hips/speed to play safety.

That closing speed is pretty crazy for an LB. Chalk up another failure by the Coker/Shannon regime.

The best players played and in order for us to put him on the field we played him at safety... When he was a freshman we had Spence, Sharpton and Cmac... The next year Arthur Brown was slated to start but he left but we even had Spence, Cmac and Buchanan was solid... We can say he struggled at safety but for a hs qb he was progressing and we haven't witness production from that position since his 2010 season... We even played him in the box quite a bit... We can't complain about his production his 1st two years because he played well for such a young player...

Yea all ACC player as a sophomore is a failure... Can't blame them for everything man... When he came back against VT in 2011 he didn't start yet he had like 7 tackles and a fumble recovery... You do realize every player that has come through from 03-11 hasn't sucked?

FWIW....still no wrap on the tackle

And the first thing he does after the tackle is pound his chest and celebrate himself.
Still a "me" player.
I hope he does well. He's accomplished his goal, which was to get to the league. Good for him.

Good grief...

He made a good play, he can celebrate a little.

Of course he can, and he should, but how about celebrating with a team mate and not just be *********ory.
Maybe I read into it too much, but this whole chest pounding, "look how great I am", its all about me attitude, is the reason Ray Ray pretty much flamed out at Miami.

I had a class with him in 09. We had to go around the room and introduce and say something about yourself.. He just stands up and goes "I'm Ray Ray. Imma play in the league"

LMFAO

All I now is his hit on the kickoff against OU was about the last tackle I have "heard" since. Might have missed some, but it is the last I remember. Actually thought we were on way back at that moment shows what I know.
