Pro Canes performing well for St. Louis

After Sam Shields hit the league and blew me away with his transition from college to the league, I refuse to doubt our kids potential. Good for Brandon and Ray.

Will always root for Mcgee. Kid laid it all out there for us last year. Wish him the best.

Nothing most Canes fans don't know but I always thought whomever got McGee was getting a steal. You see NFL guys that don't watch college as much as they should clamoring over guys like David Amerson, but rarely did I see McGee mentioned.

Was a LB all along.. What could have been.. Thanks, RS

NFl is a mental game...RR needs to fix the 12 inches between his ears....he will be in the NFL for a long time..

I got killed for saying RR was.a LB

"Shut up Zino he's the next Sean Taylor". Lulz

He was never gonna be a LB here when we were eating Pizza Rolls and doing Pilates all off-season. If he came in under Golden he would've stood a chance to add good size and make the move, but he's just another in a long line of causalities under the Shannon Reign.

Nice work by McGee, who was one of the most hated/under appreciated guys before his senior year. Hope he has a long career.

After how Amerson got tortured against Hurns and Dorsett last year im surprised anyone gave him looks. But McGee might have been the most slept on pro ready CB in the draft simply placed on caliber and quality of comp through his career. Bama clowns might disagree but they play nobodies outside of conference and the weakest siden of the SEC.

McGee will do well in the NFL
He appreciated the process and had a decent senior year
He will only get better in the nFL

McGee was really good last year IMO. Those guys had to cover for 60 seconds every ******* play, I give the entire unit a pass for the most part.

McGee was on such an upswing going into the draft, I also felt like whoever took him was getting a steal. He always had the physical skill, it's just a shame it was wasted under the previous regime. He really showed that he responds well to good coaching, and I think he will be another one whose pro performance exceeds that of his time in college.

Wish them both well. I wonder if Ray Ray feels any loyalty to the U, or only anger. I know Golden got him some looks and allowed him to come to the Pro Day, so I'm hopeful the relationship has improved over the past year. Kid made some dumb mistakes, but he stayed when the other Juniors left, and I've like him ever since, even if he did get kicked off afterwards.

McGee is just all Cane. If he had had one more year under Golden, he'd have gone much higher in the draft. He's a steal, for sure.
