It’s great to see Ny Carr showing that much respect for CJ Daniels, seemingly on par with, or if not more than, the respect he has for the WRs who left. Hopefully it’s a sign of a cohesive strong unit forming over the summer.

Loved what Blay had to say and how he said it. No nonsense, no sugar coating and accountable. He just made me a big fan of his. He has the right mentality.

Bell couldn’t have had a better mentor than Jalen Rivers.

I understand he can be successful but Smith had blazing speed Jojo does not have that imo. And Smith although great you do not want him as the number 1 and he has to be paired with other savages as well. Can a light weight be your number 1 in college? Yes but he better be surrounded by goons every where else. Always want the bigger types period end of story......if you had a Lebron James clone that was 63 215 and Lebron James 68 260 both 20 years old same position, who would you take? You taking the bigger Bron its just facts man, I understand people get upset or mad about it but if a bigger guy can do what the little guy can do you take the bigger guy.

Not saying Jojo is trash I am saying when you go up against the elite you need all those techniques and athleticism while being bigger or the same size as the opponent, if not you will get walked off the field like we did to Nebraska and what UGA did to TCU etc.

I am just disappointed that we are still not up to Miami standard in talent vs what I see high end football schools doing when they are recruiting. I am pleased in the direction and I know it is taking awhile but I am getting impatient.....especially when I see what we lose playing on Saturdays.
@Dwinstitles u no u my dawg but there will be NO JOJO slander tolerated on this board

Really intrigued by Blay. Watched the game against Arkansas last year he was good. Good at stopping the run and another year of S&C and working with Lewis might take him to another level inside. Been a while since we’ve had a NT type makes a big impact but between him and Scott I’m cautiously optimistic about the DT spot

In fairness, does he ever sound happy in pressers?
No, but today he kept on going about a long ways to go, and talking about mental mistakes, and how hard they are coaching the players, and need to quit looking at social media people praising them. It was much more excessive than normal.

wonder if QB play is stressing him right now..... Doesn't sound good from any site.
Yeah this time last year Cam and the receivers already had two months of working together

That’s when I knew Cam was different and we had a legit shot at something special

There’s no silver lining with QB1 out for the spring when you’ve got backups that aren’t good enough to win games only hope is that Nickel gets more and more reps

One of Ferman's posters goes to practices. He's said several times they have Nickel with the walkons and 3rd teamers. Seems like he's being taken along slowly..... Tough to really gauge anything when you have guys who cannot catch.. He has had nothing good to say about Emory & Judd...

We need one more to hold up vs ND-type OLs and playoff teams, IMO.

I’m not trying to **** on former players, but I know what I type next will sound like it. Let me preface it by saying he was a great teammate, hard worker, and intelligent young man.

When Corey Flagg was being talked up and having a significant role on those 2022 and 2023 squads, you know we were hurting bad at that position and to expect issues back there.

100%. This is déjà vu all over again. That said, I have been a huge Chase Smith fan since he was a high schooler, so I’m hoping the hype is real this one time. We did see it with Arroyo. But I can’t think of another good example, and there are many many contrary proof points.
