Spring PractiSe 6: Saturday, March 22nd

But it is true if you (for the position you play) are big and have that athletic ability power and speed for that position its a difference. Its an exaggerated comparison so I can make my point easily to understand what I mean. Jeremiah benefits from being the size he is and moving like a little guy, same like Saquon dude running a 4.3 at 230 with that explosiveness. You had people saying Walton was better before the draft and that was drugs they were on, he's 230 bruh you cant bring that down easily with that explosiveness and speed you just cant. Walton was like 200 that's a huge difference, in every sport that makes a big difference when athletic ability are leveled between players.
Ryan Williams is 6'0, 176 and had absolutely no one next to him in the receiving corps.

I'm not going to stress about Jojos weight. Not happening.

Nice scorpion…

Ofc I wanted Jojo he was a must get in that class imo, I like Jojo. I just wish he was paired with other elite wrs, I think we can do much better on the trail......thats just how I see it. I feel like if Al Golden or Randy Shannon were our wr coach he would be getting destroyed on here.....we would be calling for that staff replacement a good while ago.
Definitely that's the problem with recruiting the last years we would get one top talent at WR then not sign another top WR until 3 or 4 years later. But bama and ohio st sign some every single year

Nah not in college. The kid at Oregon last season was 155 and put up numbers
Yea you can put up numbers but I am always thinking about who will we play when we play in the playoffs. I always look ahead, its bad to do but I always do it like a ******. And that kid that weighs 155 probably aint doing that when it gets tougher and the competition gets better. That's how I would build my roster looking ahead.

Had a great game vs penn st and was good vs osu the 1st time they played. Devonta smith won the heisman at 170. Worthy was in the 160s. Waddle was like 175-180 at bama

Bruh you stay complaining about lack of talent and blah blah blah! No team has that many big fast and strong guys at every position like you are wanting! They just don’t! You don’t need that to be a good team. This year’s champs, Ohio state had a few guys like that, but not everywhere. All your takes just be wild!!! It’s year after year after year too! 😂

Saturday Practice Observations:
  • Chris Ewald worked with the safety group today.
  • Fletcher and Lyle both got first team reps, but Lyle had the better day. He’s incredibly explosive
  • Young WR core flashed today, Josh Moore had the best day out of the group. Moore had a great catch by a bad throw from Judd. Rayray had a nice back of the endzone catch.
  • Punt returns looking like 1. Rayray 2. Toney 3. Upshaw
  • DB’s are lockdown. Many times the dline got to the QB and forced the QB to get a quick ball out resulting in an interception. Notable guys that had a good day: Dylan Day, Xavier Lucas, Ethan O’Connor
  • Elija Lofton is probably the best player on the team. They lined him up everywhere and he always got yards wherever he was.
  • Hayden Lowe had a tipped pick.
  • Zech Poyser is probably the most underrated DB and IMO the best in the room. His coverage skills are insane.
  • Markeith Williams is making that next stride. Had a good day.
I just know that QB room is straight garbage since Beck Cannot practice. Luckily it's still early with Luke Nickel.
