Practice today

Jake Heaps is the opposite of what Miami needs at QB. He's a turnover machine. 35 tds to 27 ints throughout his college career.

Also he's throwing more picks in practice than Kaaya is. It would make no sense at all to start Jake Heaps on the road on Labor Day. He will get rattled. Y'all got it backwards.

If the only thing you're going to do is copy and paste the same **** over and over, do us all a favor and go jump off of Sunlife...

OL has replaced everything else as far as my number one concern. It's not that its devoid of talent but the middle/right is insanely questionable even though I really liked Isadora early on. We haven't gotten much out of our lines in the past and that was with a lot more talent there. The constant domination by our defensive rushes is a double edged sword for sure. Yes we have some supremely gifted guys on the outside, but the constant beating they give our OL is very concerning, given that we have under-performed there for years.

The board should automatically replace the word "mope" with "I suck huge dlcks" whenever anyone posts it.

That's one option. Or people could stop being so ridiculously mopey.

Or, those who skip around in rainbow shirts could read objective comments about the program without crying and holding a group meeting for support.

Except that isn't really how it goes down here. The same porsters porst the same **** daily, no matter what the topic of a thread is. Coaching staff sucks, defense sucks, Heaps sucks, Golden favors Seniors.

All you have to do is porst it once. We get it.

Nobody was happy with the performance last year. You can do two things: talk about it ad nauseum, or talk about the 2014 season which hasn't happened yet so the definitive statements being made in the mope-verse are pretty **** stupid.

I can't imagine some of you have people you watch games with. Who would want to sit around people so **** negative?

I'll be happy to wear a rainbow shirt as long as I don't have to read or hear the same **** complaints in every thread by the same porsters.

We're breaking down the team. Things come up such as our inadequacies at defensive tackle, or complete question mark at QB, etc. Again, if hearing one shred of anything that isn't positive scares you so much, **** off.

We're talking football. Stop crying.

Like you know a fcking thing about football. The only thing you break down is your cousin.

You forgot "but can he play DT".

Yep, Ive been worried about it all along. I think a lot of people have really overlooked this issue. Line was supposed to be a strength of this team last year, and I thought they were mediocre at best. Im very concerned about the OL and the depth we have.

Bunche leaving really hurts us. I'm surprised people don't talk about that more.

People probably don't talk about it because Bunchie was terrible here.

So what are we complaining about today guys?

Golden appointed Heaps the starter at DT where we have no depth because we don't play enough press coverage and move guys' positions permanently-but-only-for-one-day too often.

I think I got that right.

Heaps-Kaaya feels like Hoyer-Manziel minus the putrid play, middle fingers and Vegas night clubs. The job is going to Heaps all along just like it was to Hoyer and "experience" is the word that will be used as the reason.

I don't consider myself a mope in the least, but this QB competition does seem set-up in favor of Heaps.

Honest question, how so? Kaaya seems to have been given every opportunity, even resting Heaps during the scrimmage.

I get the whole starting the senior at QB line of thinking, but I think people using Goldens history of going with the veteran are looking at the QB battle wrong.

This is what I'll say about the QB competition....

-If Kaaya is killing it, give it to Kaaya.
-If Heaps is killing it, give it to Heaps.
-If its even, give it to Heaps. Lord knows the right side of that line is going to be 2008 all over again (Joel Figeroa anyone!?) and its best to allow the kid to develop w/o getting pummeled.

If the OL truly is suspect and Heaps make the competition close, give the job to him.

I don't want Kaaya to morph into Kyle Wright 2.0 from getting sacked so much.
