my bad black shirts are only for the defense... that **** won't work on Bush/Carter
Does this jersey switching stuff work?
I think it worked at first when he got here and now on the younger guys that come in it works. its to motivate the guys to bring out there best.it doesnt work on the older guys who know they will start.
I know why they do it, I was curious if it works.
I just look at as their way of saying, you are not doing everything you can do if you are not in the black or orange. I see it as a way of making sure they know and everyone else knows that more is expected of them.
I'm gonna leave something here and remember I said it. Don't be surprised if Kaaya is the starter that this Heaps guy is gonna throw a fit and leave.
Leave and go where exactly? Going to leave when he is 1 play away from being the starter (if Kaaya wins the job)
Throw enough **** at the way and eventually some sticks.
Wow u got so amped up typing that you completely missed the word if. Heaps has a history of leaving schools so how off base was the thought of him leaving?
I know exactly what his post said.
And like I said, where is he going to go? And why would he leave?
If Kaaya starts is what I'm saying.
Kaaya is my pick at QB.
But I'm speaking the hypothetical. Don't be surprised, we've had it happen before. I really could see Heaps leaving if Kaaya gets the job. The guy has left two programs already, don't let anything slip you.
I'd be willing to bet it will work with TH when two other dudes are CB's. He got abused on that run by Trayone, and did his usual head down weak tackling. I love his game, but his tackling needs work. So I think it would work there.... anyone who takes pride in what they do it should work on. Don't be surprised to hear about a few monster hits by DP if he don't get his back soon, yeah I'm talking to you Gus Bus... you might want to talk to the coaches to make sure he don't get too ****ed about not having his black jersey...lol

Pretty sure if Tracy got abused that play would have been part of the plays of day. Or at least mentioned in the camp notebook. Tracy grabbed Gray's ankle/foot and at least slowed him down if not completely tripping him up.
That's a horrific poo fling of a post. At least you did it in less than 16000 words.I'm gonna leave something here and remember I said it. Don't be surprised if Kaaya is the starter that this Heaps guy is gonna throw a fit and leave.
HOW short is Heaps?!
Listed at 6'1", so probably around 6'
Heard he's 5'10 - 5'11
What's the average on our OL?
5'8", so we're good with Heaps.
We coming. We going to meet expectations finally.
What's the average on our OL?
Maybe 6'5
Works fine for Drew Brees and Jonny M.
And just about no one else on the planet.
In the NFL, but it sure worked for a lot of guys in college. Shaun King was under 6 feet (actual height, I knew him at Tulane, though he was listed at 6-1) and he set NCAA records for QB efficiency. Joe Hamilton was 5-10, and was a Heisman candidate at Ga Tech. Heck, Brock Berlin was listed at 6-1, and that's being generous, and he had a very good senior year for us in 2004. There are plenty of others too in college who were very short, and did just fine.

The fact that you had to use Shaun King from mid major Tulane and Joe Hamilton from GT, both from nearly 20 years ago says more than any reply I could whip up. Add in the fact that OL we're on average 2" shorter back then than they are now and you have a compounding problem. There are always outliers, but if you are depending on a longshot to come in, you're going to lose your job. Give me a legit 6'3"+ all day at QB please and thank you.
