Asked in other thread but hopefully this one will remain about practice. So Kirby lost his black shirt. Is he back to practicing? I thought he was being held out due to injury?

He was out only 1 practice. Golden said it wasnt serious. I wouldnt pay that much attention to jersey colors. its for the players and mind games.

Worked on me when I played, no jerseys, but mixing up the depth chart made me wanting to take someone's head off to earn my position back.

Nothing wrong with some extra motivation in the dog days of summer practice.

Its not always a motivational thing. Sometimes the coaches just want to get some extra reps for the marginal guys who are battling for the #2 and #3 spots. Moving Perryman out of the starting lineup gives those other guys extra reps for the coaches to use as evaluation.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully he gets it together. Kirby has so much athleticism but seemed lost and took terrible angles when he played last year.

Hows FSU looking so far this summer?
 
Sounds like most of the defense gave a ****** effort this morning and coaches are letting them know it by taking away the black shirts.
 
Njoku back with the receivers?!!!! But some people already were rustled over the "move' to LB!
