CB has been pretty good this portal period. Nickel and Safety has been just average to okay. CB was also pretty good last year in portal. Maybe thats going to be a trend.

If CB/S is always this loaded in the portal where its not all that difficult to get 1-2 starting caliber guys yearly there, I think we can probably count on doing so yearly tbh. Like WR always has a bit of talent but seems even more competitive/high cost for the top of the line guys. I'd prefer to develop Safeties, and don't mind just hitting portal for CBs.

Whereas like we've seen OL/DT/EDGE even LB hasn't had too many top guys enter. WR has a lot but it probably the most competitve and costly, so still better to not have to rely on getting more than 1 portal WR yearly...

It’s crazy how all these mid to lower ACC teams whose recruiting classes end up ranking outside the top 30 every year produce all these DB’s who are always sought after in the portal. If anyone from our secondary from this season jumped in the portal no one would want them other than OJ and Porter maybe
