Possible D-Line/DT Coach

There's no way in **** that dude would even make eye contact with me. Let alone SAY a word to me to my face. He's not built like that.

Dude is upset that he made an asinine post claiming that everything was on the DC and not Mario. Man goes off on a tangent for nothing. I honestly didn't even read his post because there is no objective, rational, and intelligent reply you can make in response to me outside of recognizing that he's wrong and shouldn't have typed it.
Not trying to argue brother. Just legit curious & trying to understand people's takes that I don't think are just blindly putting everything on Mario. So question is what do you think (simply with this DC conversation)is on Mario & not on DC?

Bain is lighter and 3 inches taller. At his height 290 would be on the small end. I would think he needs at least 15 pounds to be considered an athletic DT.
Please don’t build your hope on Bain athletics if he was all this it would have shown last year.
Bain isn’t right to have his game fall apart all last year and made no adjustments to his attitude ain’t good .
He’s a player that motor goes silent when he meets a formidable opponent.

He deteriorated all year long new DC has already seen this on film and will deal with Bain deterioration in his play no doubt.

Sounds like you know Ruben on a personal level. How did you know his attitude ain't good?

Simple management rules bredren. As someone who works in management im responsible for anything my employees do. Yes, I can fire them(or get them fired by HR). But I always have to sit down with my boss and explain **** that I did or didn't even do. That's just the nature of the beast.

As the head guy, I hired the person, I'm responsible for their development or lack thereof so I have to speak to it and have to own the outcome of their actions.

If i keep hiring people who are not doing their jobs correctly then I'll justifiably be terminated because my vetting process and my leadership skills are obviously lacking.

Like, I don't get all these excuses for Mario, man. He hires guys that dont get the job done and somehow it's not his fault? I don't know a world that works in.

It's as simple as: He hired the guy, if he sucks it's his fault for hiring him. He would surely get the praise if the guy is successful so let's keep it fair on both sides.

LOL, I remember dudes e-beefing on Ferman's board many man moons ago.

One poster said meet me at The Rat to have a quarrel over said e- beef.

Referenced poster not only went, but also waited with a pinwheel hat on his head, lol

Good times.

I hope these boards never change.

No I don’t but I also don’t stick my head in the sand , but on his mannerisms on the field glaring his play and field presence isn’t right.

I draw a lot of opposition in this reality we see but that’s ok most people see it but are in denial of his play.

You can’t be all world for a year then the following year completely fall apart to average at best play.

If his play didn’t bother anyone well then that’s fine , when his issues persisted he’ll declare NFL ready if he can’t perform in CFB at the level he did when he got here.

Or maybe, just maybe, he was battling an injury and also had to get used to being a possible focal point of an opponents gameplay? That's typically a reason for a sophomore slump on any level, teams getting tape on you and forcing you to make your weaknesses your strengths or force you to the bench.

It's a learning curve. I don't see it as indicative of his resolve and ethic.

Saying anything negative about bain’s motor is an easy tell that you don’t watch or know wtf you’re talking about lol

If that's the argument then yeah. He's gotta wear it. But you think it's as simple as that? Was Guidry good year #1? For me I remember feeling people thought last season that Guidry was a great hire & Dawson was in over his head. This season that narrative flipped. I'm always the one leaving for better coaching needs to be the answer at this level because at the end of the day we recruit at a plenty high enough level that is not gonna be bad evals. Kids gotta step up & coaches gotta coach to the strengths of their players. The biggest issue we had was communication. Dudes were never on the same page. Not sure what makes that such an issue for us. My take, we needed to cut down on the moving pieces. Too many voices. You got one chief, every one else needs to understand they Indians. Can't keep having people not understanding assignments on game day. That's the reason I don't blame Mario for what happened. What he failed at was putting enough game ready pieces into the discussion. Just hoping we get back to understanding this is a team sport. The more time you get with your teammates, the better we gonna be.

I’m curious to go back and check how many sudden experts here were saying this stuff about Bain in 2023

Probably the same people saying we should pay Guidry whatever he wants to stick around as well

Dude this is the weirdest reply I have ever read in my life. Feels like an alien trying to pretend to be human. Your either a poorly written bot using chat gpt 2.0 or we've been invaded. The strange choice of big words, wrapped with poorly used grammer and even your approach to the conversation is all weird as F.

What if Ruben was not or is not as good as he showed in 23 or maybe his injured in 24 kept him from reaching his level of play in 23 or maybe it's a little bit of both. Let's show a little grace and see whats in store for him in 25!! Why **** on players after 1 disappointing year?

See, this is why they say don't mix friends with business. It gets too personal. In corporate America this is called excuses. Personally, it's understandable. But in business it's all about the bottom line and no one gives af about the reasons, excuses, or circumstances. You know how hard it is to fire a good employee because they're getting a divorce and their car broke down so they started being late all the time? It's hard af but I've had to do it.

When my boss asks me why is Tony late all the time? They don't care about his personal issues only the fact that he's costing us money and success.

That's how it's seen with Mario. All the nuances don't matter to most people. His el capitano. So no one cares if one if his crew forgot to swab the **** deck and raise the anchor. The ship is sinking and it's the captains fault. No one's blaming that crew member. He's gotta work on his leadership skills bro.

They perm or removable?
Technically they're all removable lol. Had 4 perms on each of my fangs/K9s for years but had em them taken off and boy oh boy that **** hurt like **** and I feel like it took forever to get my teeth back white. I'll never do that again.

These are easy pullout that I got in my avatar. Although I have an awesome jeweler who cuts and molds so we'll that you can't even tell. They're so tight they actually hurt to take out. I'm a gold mouf goon for life. It's in me blood.

He gets blocked his line play terribly weak other teams figured him out all year long could never adjust.

Call me what you will , it’s obvious teams know it trouble breaking free .

No matter what you think of me , don’t care Bain has deteriorated his game do to lack of training and ownership of his position.

If he trains like X he could be unstoppable, but he does not have the desire more stomach to be great .

That’s his problem, teams know this one hit wonder.

When you have a tremendous year this means you have triple your training to X levels to raise your game for the next year knowing teams got his number
