Possible D-Line/DT Coach

See, this is why they say don't mix friends with business. It gets too personal. In corporate America this is called excuses. Personally, it's understandable. But in business it's all about the bottom line and no one gives af about the reasons, excuses, or circumstances. You know how hard it is to fire a good employee because they're getting a divorce and their car broke down so they started being late all the time? It's hard af but I've had to do it.

When my boss asks me why is Tony late all the time? They don't care about his personal issues only the fact that he's costing us money and success.

That's how it's seen with Mario. All the nuances don't matter to most people. His el capitano. So no one cares if one if his crew forgot to swab the **** deck and raise the anchor. The ship is sinking and it's the captains fault. No one's blaming that crew member. He's gotta work on his leadership skills bro.
This is when corporate America and sports don't mesh... #1 yes it's all on Mario at the end of the day because he's responsible period...
#2 if we have an all American ****** up on a particular Saturday and he blows reck, costs us a game and you can directly see his mistakes cost us repeatedly. Do you also in that instance blame the DC blame Mario or do you acknowledge players gotta do better also?.
I'm pretty well established in the corporate world at this point. I work in music. I also own several businesses. Most of those businesses they run themselves. I hired the right people to get the most for my bread. They have to be accountable towards each other. That's how the world works. Does the captain ultimately fall on the sword if they can't fight no more? **** yeah. But those sailors better fight they asses off in between. That's why theirs a chain of command I'd imagine

If he trains like X he could be unstoppable, but he does not have the desire more stomach to be great .

That’s his problem, teams know this one hit wonder.

When you have a tremendous year this means you have triple your training to X levels to raise your game for the next year knowing teams got his number
Bruh ur talking out ur ***. Cut it out please. To say Reuben is a one hit wonder and he doesn't train hard is simply you being wholly disingenuous. One is an opinion while the other is a blatant lie.

Im sorry you speak like you are present in Ruben day to day life. If that is the case then I'm sorry for questioning you!!

You traded them in for a pair of executeef for management in the professional workplace?
Nah. When I first started i had my perms in. And I still wear my pull outs to work on occasion.

Have I been judged? Yes. Did I have to go through **** to get to a leadership position? Also yes. My work ethic, insight, and public speaking ability is undeniable though. Doesn't matter what i wear. I'm one of the best doing it. Does the company want to make/save money, mitigate risks, and think forward? Or do they want some MF that looks the part but can't play it?

I gave them an ultimatum and they chose right.

That’s exactly how it should be 💯. If you can make them better and more successful then that’s what matters as I see it.

Well, I hate that it's come to this but sports are corporate now. I mean ****, schools are actually hiring GMs now. Games and travel are expensive af. It's an endless money pit for fans, boosters, and the school.

If a player ***** up, people ask " What is the head coach doing or not doing to allow this?" If an assistant coach ***** up people ask " Why isn't the head coach doing something about it?" No one's holding the subordinates to the standard they're holding the HC.

People are going to ask " What is/was Kirby and Saban preaching to keep their teams from committing stupid penalties at inopportune moments, and why isn't my coach capable of holding their players to the same standard"?

The bar has been set extremely high for anyone coaching at a blue blood. In reality, Ryan Day has been an excellent coach for the ****nuts but before this recent ship, fans were divided on him because of his inability to get over the hump. Most of his teams shortcomings have been on players and assistants but no one cares. He's the face so he's the one not getting it done.

Looks like the joker Jared Leto
@Canezum5 ‘s formerly worn gold teeth might get me through February with the possibilities he’s provided me.

The problem in that is it's based on an incorrect assumption. All this social media **** is for nothing except fan consumption. It's a way that schools can keep the narrative affloat that they are trapped in with their fans and they can show they care. Now to a lesser extent nil is getting tied in with this as well(however no matter what youre led to believe, the vast majority of fan dollars don't make a lick of difference towards who we can get or not when it correlates to their nil) But as a staff and as a school what fans feel isn't relevant. Unless you're a packers fan in what world should a fan dictate the day to day of what goes on with a squad. It doesn't. You guys see exactly what you're supposed to see except on game day. So no one really comprehend what's being done to address these various topics. No one can really be dense enough to see the same problems over and over and assume throughout the course of it all no attempts were made to correct things. The only accurate assessment to reach is no matter what people believe nothing done at any level was enough.

I understand everyone thinks because I'm a former player or good with Mario I'm gonna always defend him. Reality is that **** ain't accurate. I don't always defend him. Been critical plenty of people choose to pay attention in those moments. But regardless of anything me, you or anyone else feels, ain't no one gonna take this more personal and be more involved than Mario himself. Only thing he could've and possibly should've done differently this year was get rid of Guidry mid season & demote JT. But I strongly doubt that would've done anything positive for us. It would've created an even bigger distraction to the team as a whole. You don't do that on a team that's ranked in the top 10 top 15 whatever it was cause I don't remember for the majority of the season.
