Porter & Seantrel bolting for NFL? Thoughts?

Semi-related, who was that FB we had who left early, circa 1996, that went undrafted?

Carlo Joseph. The funny thing is he's now a big-time investor in Atlanta. I believe he already had his degree when he left.

How in the world can someone call that OLine "****ed?" Especially coming from someone who used to work with the team and knows the dynamic of a college OLine?

LT Flowers (I think we saw glimpses of what they were trying to do with him this year)
LG Feliciano
C Mcdermott
RG Linder
RT Bunche

Key backups: Jermaine Johnson (he can come back, right?), Isidora, Wheeler, maybe Gadbois

The only way someone can say that OLine is "****ed" is if they don't realize that both Feliciano (who has actual game snaps at Tackle) and Linder can both kick out to Tackle. We're missing a reliable swing tackle, but have two Guards who would likely step into the Tackle spots in a pinch. If they do, Wheeler and Isidora would be able to step in. This is even a worst case scenario where a guy like Gadbois doesn't develop at all.

That starting OL is great. It's the depth that is atrocious, and getting worse. Without Seantrel back, our OT rotation consists of Flowers, Bunche, HALL  and GADBOIS . Our interior OG rotation consists of THREE  players - Linder, Feliciano, and Isidora. Our C rotation consists of McDermott and Wheeler.

Without Ben Jones, Jeremy Lewis, and Jermaine Johnson, and with Seantrel likely leaving early, this team's experienced serviceable depth has been stripped almost completely bare. Guys like Lewis and Johnson might have been JAGS, but that's still a LOT MORE than what Wells, Gadbois, Isidora, Gall, etc., have proven.

You're not wrong that the depth is hurting, but I think it's being overstated. Do you acknowledge that both Feliciano and Linder would get kicked outside in the case of an injury? Do you acknowledge Wheeler would then be in the G rotation? The interior line is one of the more versatile we've had in some time. Plus, I'm not gonna count on him, but word is Briscoe may get a look at Tackle (maybe a future swing tackle).

I see Kehoe already putting in work with the oline. Just a year or two before we are back to pre-stoutland days
