The closest we’ve heard so far is that Cribby has told us he expects changes on the defensive staff. Nothing definitive at this point.

Back in 2022 season Cribby was the one that said that changes would happen on the staff and this was during the season. So I take Cribby as a good source

Yeah man, I'm split on Guidry. Won't lose sleep if he goes. Won't lose sleep if he stays.

I question whether any DC could have done much with our talent this season. The poor tackling, communication, and IQ can't all be solely on the DC. Some of yall were making threads last season about doing everything we can at all costs to keep Guidry from going to LSU :ROFLMAO:.

I'm reluctantly alright with giving him one more season, granted, he can't choose his DB coach this time around and we also get a massive infusion of talent and speed in the portal.

Honestly, I was more disappointed with the DL than I was with the DB's. I already knew our DB's were suspect. I did not expect the DL to wet the bed like they did.
Dude I always enjoy your posts. Some of the best on this board.

Granddad really a miami alum?
this part is true, all the rest of the tweet? probably not.

His grandfather, Tony Raiola, was a defensive lineman for the University of Miami in the mid-1970s, but saw his career cut short due to a shoulder injury in 1977.

from the schools website, letters to the team in '02.

"Tony Raiola: Honolulu, hawaii: I played in 72′ to 77′ @ the university of miami. i still follow the canes regardless if my son made all-american @ nebraska in 2000′ & my number 2 son is @ wisconsin 2nd year…..I KNOW THE CANE WILL PREVAIL @ THE FIESTA BOWL..."

Why is that? Legitimately asking.
Felt like Raiola had a better supporting cast and produced at a level below Arnold. Arnold no doubt had bad games but I liken his situation to Miami having a five star RS FR at QB but a season without Restrepo, George and Horton, not to mention an OL that about as bad as Miami 2022.

I like Arnold's running ability, too.

TrumpyCane wants to know if you ever watch a Matt Rhule offense?

Try not to but being in KS I love it when Nubs lose. So I've kept up that much.

Arnold also had a lame duck OC obviously.

I'd take Arnold.
His WR situation was bad. Really bad. More injuries than a war camp. He hasn’t been a world beater but that offense had a ton of outside issues.

Raiola's 'admiration' of Mahomes is just weird. Coupled with the de-commitments before settling at Nebraska..and that before even getting to the pedestrian 1st campaign. And now purportedly looking for a better situation because he wasn't surround with enough talent. No thanks. Can't imagine Mario, of all people, going after that guy.
