Been an Emory fan since last year…what was I thinking?

Exactly why I said on the boards the Mario approach is not sustainable.

Need to be able to move quickly for QBs even if they aren’t the top QB.

Should’ve pivoted to Mendoza right away after Mateer.

Mario’s all in approach on 1 guy is ******* stupid.

Offer Hoover everything. Like $8 million.

I'm really hoping he has a plan. The whole the coaching staff loves Emory is BS just based on how conservative we were on playcalling. They don't trust him to throw downfield and watching Emory on that last drive I totally get it. He can't throw, his accuracy is just as bad against FSU. So whose this new QB? We better get one

It’s bad look for cam to get pulled halfway through the game. Still should’ve won this game. Kicking the FG on the 3 is coward football. Not running the ball every play after we forced a 3 and out in the 4th quarter was dumb they haven’t stopped the run all game.
You can bet your *** that was Cam’s choice..not Mario’s

I won’t blame Emory (although his lack of everything was on full display), but I don’t understand, we ran down their throats. Got a TD. Got to the 2 yd line running down their throats again, and pass? Killed the momentum, and down hill from there. I’ll give the D credit, they made some stops and the O did nothing. But my goodness, the whole D needs to be revamped, starting with the coaches, and then 90% of the players.

He went 5/14 for 26 yards….who is to blame other himself??

They actually ate a giant pop tart ....... I made a post about that a few days ago and it really happened....

This is just emotional rhetoric. Mario played conservative and didn't get Emory acclimated throwing the ball. Didn't get his backup QB any reps all season. Threw him in with a bunch of WRs that didn't get any game experience, then expect him to lead the game winning drive. Now, you want to make a comparison.
I don't usually get this worked up over stuff llike this but what just happened on that field was criminal. You cannot tell me they really thought he was good enough to start next season. Not in any way , shape or form. They didn't even trust him to throw for a whole quarter. It was exactly like last season. Where's all the development that supposedly took place?

I think back to Gunnar Stockton having to come off the bench for UGA.... Light years different

that was a joke.

They’ve seen Emory in practice for 2 years this is not some surprise. He looked no different than the Clemson game from last year.

Thats my biggest disappointment in Emory. I was never for him starting but d@mn I thought he could throw over the middle a couple of times....he can't even do that

On to year 4 now and this roster is nowhere near what I thought it would be. By now we should be near elite.

Cause he looks good against our defense, which everyone does. So when he played against a real one, we see the end result.

Wonder how many of our young receivers leave now that they got to see Emory play meaningful reps lmao

Horton not looking so dumb now is he
