Player Led Practice

Point made. I share your sentiments as well. Today was a **** show, to put it mildly, especially after last week’s performance. I’m glad I’m not the only one upset. But the point being made is that the players know it. The coaches know it. Something’s being done about it. After a six pack, I’m gonna chill and let the week take it’s course. I’m gonna give my PTSD a rest. We have a great coach in place in years, let’s let it unfold.
The difference that keeps me optimistic is the fact that absolutely no one from Mario on down to the players was satisfied with today's win. Manny would have been happy with the win and praised the guys for their resilience.

No one is satisfied and that is key.

Recognize what exactly??...the garbage I saw today, from playcalling, too DB play...too Bad tackling, too dropping passes??...That's what you want me to Recognize??....
I love what you bring to this board and your old stories….

But brotha if you wanna look past some of BORTCH Davis specials he did on game day is laughable…

This.

The extent of how overrated Botch was cannot be overstated.

He identified and amassed some of the best talent in UM (and college football) history. No doubt.

But that’s where it ends.

The guy was a mediocre game day coach, and is a horrible human being. The hero worship needs to end.

do you really need it explained?

Yeah. Give it a whirl.

Didn't only have player practices - but if you didn't make your times - or jerking off - you best stay out of the locker room as there was an old-fashioned, country ***-whipping there. They used to FIGHT and work over guys who weren't going full bore.

It works in other endeavors in life as well. No use in having a few pull hard with others slacking off, or failing to perform. It just ****es off those who are doing their best.

Some here don't seem to get that. Come out flat. Dragging ***. Moving in slow motion. ****-poor offensive play calling. For an entire half.

So yeah - Explain the other side of that - especially how failure to perform helps the team.

'Cause I don't know WTF that would sound like.

He had legitimate excuses....3yrs later were you raining praise on him???....
Radio, golden, richt, Diaz… not exactly the same with sanctions… but Mario is rebuilding a brand with kids who weren’t even born when Miami last won it all. Butch at least could point to just a few years earlier of success and just needing to get his schollys back to compete(which he did)

Keep that same energy in 3 years with Mario too if he get this train back on track…

First off he’s not a kid and second maybe he should work on getting better.
You're right. He's not a kid.
So then he should go to the practice to get better?

Not a big deal. I know you're just being funny.

But he's a good young man who's just trying to live his dream.

He practices hard and obviously makes an impression on the coaches during camp every year.. just seems like when the lights come on something happens?

Like I said, the coaches are the ones to blame. It's not like he's lazy or has a bad attitude or anything.. By all accounts he's a model student, player, and member of his community. No reason to bash the young man because when the cameras are on he can't accomplish what the coaches are asking him to.

I love Mario....but in all fairness what Butch did is astounding considering the circumstances, and Mario saw it up close from 98-2000. I just didn't like what I saw today. You can pull that on Southern Miss....but you're not getting away with that BS later on.

I’ve never bashed Ivey the person I bash Ivey the player. He seems like a good person, works hard, does everything right but as a football player he is one of the worst players I’ve ever seen.
