Not sure. Doesn't make sense. My only answer is maybe Feldman is talking about the financial aid agreement and not an actual LOI, but I feel like he would have specified that.

Yep. In recruiting, the tea leaves are in the quotes. If you hear mealy mouthed/parrotted logic, you know what the deal is - shenanigans. If you hear professed love for a school/position coach, you certainly don't need to be einstein to figure out what this deal is.

Surtain was being nice to the home team... He never wanted to come here man... Don't kno why u guys didn't see that. Recruiting experts that have no life and do this job for a living been saying this kid is an LSU lock for 2-3 years...

Not trying to beat this into the ground, but did he ever put us in his top 6. They never even mention us in interviews. That’s what I keep coming back to.

I still say we have a chance. Kids don't always go to the childhood favorite. Like others have said, if he was a lock he would committed already.

Odd twist w/ the new early signing period. There are recruits who've actually signed papers but didn't want schools to announce them til Feb. One coach said the tricky part is you could end up committing a violation recruiting a kid you don't know that's signed someplace else.

I agree that the article seems "pro LSU", and rightfully so. It is an SEC Country LSU website. Were you expecting it to be "pro Miami?"
I don't have a clue regarding where Surtain will sign, but I am not putting any weight into this article. Based on the feel/vibe of this article, PS2 is beating his dyck to thoughts/images of Raymond during the time that he is actually on the phone with Rumph.

So when was this interview from? Dad didn’t mention us there but mentioned other schools. Have they said anything positive about Miami anywhere since the top 6 announcement?? Just asking.
It’s just that an interview like this, coming one day after the kid attends our practice, is like a slap in the face. Assuming the quotes are from today or yesterday, and that’s an assumption, but if it’s true, it’s just disrespectful as fūck.
And all the fūcking praise for Corey as a DB coach. Have any of the Surtains ever been quoted heaping such lavish praise on Rumph? I’m legitimately asking. Even faint praise. I don’t recall it. It may have happened. But I’d like to see it. There’s a reason I’m asking.
