OT: UGA vs. SC

I think it was more than just wearing them down. For example, here's what happened at the beginning of the 2nd half when South Carolina should have been fired up and rested. UGA went 75 yards for a TD. Held SC to a 3 and out. And then came right back and went 75 for another TD. Essentially the game was over after the first five minutes of the 3rd. I'm rooting like **** for their *** to lose (I'm surrounded by a lot of obnoxious Ga fans) but that **** was pretty impressive.

01 class: David Pollack, Thomas Davis, Dennis Roland, DJ Shockley, Odell Thurman, Nic Clemons, and Fred Gibson all made the league

02: Kedric Gholston, Leonard Pope, Max Jean-Gilles, Bryan McClendon, Quentin Moses, Tim Jennings, and Matrez Milner made the league

03: Paul Oliver, Kregg Lumpkin, Fernando Velasco, Ken Shackleford, Nick Jones,and Marcus Howard made the league

The classes were 10th, 9th, and 9th overall. Kirbys was 6, 3, and 1. He will probably be 1 again. It is a guess you are correct. All of Kirbys croots could be busts, but I would be willing to bet my life savings that Kirby does better then Richt. Over the next 30 games. The guys is lights out at recruiting and that is the most important part of being a college head coach. Believe me I want nothing more then UGA to suck because them doing well makes us look even worse. The better UGA does the more it shows how terrible Richt is. I even rooted for UF and Bama to beat UGA last year. We NEED UGA to lose or else they will have an even easier time stealing our kids then Saban does.

What is your problem that you can not get over the fact that Richt is the Miami Hurricanes football coach. Every post the same crap over and over again.

UGA and Kirby got it going on right now, but you are posting on a Canes board. Richt is going to be several years as long as he continues to up win total and play for ACC every year. Get over it man, come up with something else to whine about.

Playing for the ACC every year is nothing to be happy about. I will be happy when Richt and his merry band of misfits march right out of Miami.

It's so funny to see Canes fans actively rooting against UGA, when they aren't our rival or anything like that. A lot of you all are rooting for Kirby to fail so it doesn't make our coach look even worse and continue to give the anti richt contingent more ammo.

I can say I am part of that crowd. The better Kirby does the worse Richt looks. They are a bigger threat then FSU and UF right now.

He’s doing almost the exact same thing Rick did during his first 3 years at UGA.

UGA to me is a program like Auburn or Clemson. Solid program that can put together some great seasons with great talent, but they need a generational talent to get over the hump. Which is why they will only win a title once every 30-40 years. Maybe Fields is that guy for them.

Why wouldn’t you pull against UGa? They are bigger threats than UF or FSU for south Florida big time recruits right now.

Easier to say no to money if you aren’t as good!

Bad examples.

Watson is great, but not a generational talent. One could even make a case Williams (with his insane grabs) and Renfrow (Bama is his playground) had a bigger impact that game.

Auburn is second fiddle in that state and always has been. It's like the ugly step sister to Bama. Nobody expects Auburn to win it all ever and they last won their ship before the Bama train hit full speed.

Kids have always liked winners, but it's even bigger nowadays. Now that every game is on television or the internet, moving away from home isn't like it was 10 to 20 years ago. Recruits stay at home or close to it most of the time still, but there's no doubt more are leaving areas around the country more than they used to.

UGA keeps winning, they will continue to stockpile talent. Smart is killing it on the trail and it's the hot program right now with Bama at the room. They aren't considered a big blue blood program in a historical sense, but that's history. There's room for them to move up the too, but they have a big obstacle in Bama.

Bama isn't going to be dethroned this year, not with them finally getting a passing game to go with their ground game. Clemson needs more offense this year, gotta figure out their WR situation.

They had their generational talent in Sony and Nick. They’re the 2nd and 16th all time rushers in SEC history. We in our hay day would have trouble matching that talent level again let alone UGA.

I don't mind UGA one but as a fanbase or program. I did however know that the moment they got to the championship game it was bad for is since we had their fired coach who never made it. I'm done arguing that though since when I said that previously, all I heard was they'll slip without Richt's players. Heads up, they Smart vs Richt, better put your money on Smart.

Imagine then both sitting in a room with a recruit.

Richt: Hey, I'm the Miami coach, let's make the crib great again.

Smart: I'm the new coach where you were fired from, come join all the stud recruits we've gotten through the years and play for another championship.

Richt: Not so fast Kirby, I recruited a lot of those guys.

Smart: Calm down Mark, my coaching took them to the next level while yours got you canned. Tell me Mark, how many championships did you play in?

It just isnt a good look for us with them doung great. Besides that, UGA doesn't bother me a bit.

Zbrod really stretching to continue this unfounded myth that UGA made a mistake in firing corch rick.

UGA better than they have been in 38 years, and Miami is the same mediocre mess. I think they won that offseason.
 
Recruiting against Rick right now is incredibly easy considering how much better UGA is now.

I mean its pathetic that we are trying to sell this coach as the guy who is going to win here, when a rookie HC came in to his old program and immediately elevated them.

That right there is the knockout punch. You just have to hope you establish a great relationship, they like this area better, or whatever since if it's up to legitimate talking points, we're dead in the water heads up with them.

I think uga program wise is a notch above those two. They're the big dog in one of the best states for high school football. Relatively speaking they are in a much better position to succeed on a consistent basis than those two programs. With that said, enough of the ga love for me. Those mutha****in fans are some of the most obnoxious unbearable fans alive, and those ******** haven't even won the title in **** near 40 years. There's no one rooting against them more than me.

Made a mistake? When did I ever say it was a mistake you mongoloid?

UGA under Coach Richt with less talent in the first two years: 21-5

UGA under Kirby Smart with more talent than Richt had when he started: 21-7

They’re the same ******* thing! A second rate program! Kirby literally has done less with more talent than Richt has. The only difference is that Kirby played for a championship which Mark Richt would’ve done to if the playoff system existed. You are choosing to elevate a coach who can’t play with speed. How do you think Bama and Auburn beat them last year? We do you think SC was able to play with them for a half? They couldn’t cover Deebo Samuel one of the fastest players in the country. There is literally no difference between Kirby and Mark other than the bagmen/Admin back Kirby.
