I didn't see this game yesterday - just caught some clips in recaps. One thing that was noted by the tv guys was the difference in size of UGA offensive and defensive line compared to SC. Georgia's guys outweigh SC by like 25-30 pounds per guy. The assessment was that UGA lines just wore down SC and that allowed them to make plays. All goes back to the trenches
I think it was more than just wearing them down. For example, here's what happened at the beginning of the 2nd half when South Carolina should have been fired up and rested. UGA went 75 yards for a TD. Held SC to a 3 and out. And then came right back and went 75 for another TD. Essentially the game was over after the first five minutes of the 3rd. I'm rooting like **** for their *** to lose (I'm surrounded by a lot of obnoxious Ga fans) but that **** was pretty impressive.
