Regarding WR, there’s a bunch of rumors floating around that Ryan Williams(Bama) could become available in the spring window. That could just be speculation or throwing stuff at a wall to see what sticks, but I do think an elite receiver on that level will become available during spring. When that happens, we need to pounce.

I seriously doubt we get a RB unless someone has a serious injury in spring.

A couple weeks ago I was legit depressed about rolling into 2025 with Emory at QB and Guidry as DC. Now, at least, we have hope and that’s all we can ask for. If Beck heals up 100% from his injury I have complete confidence he’s good enough to get us to the playoff. Regarding Hetherman, the truth is none of us really know. He could be awful or insanely good, but I do like the hire. One thing’s for sure - he can’t be any worse than Guidry. I’m all aboard the off-season hype train for the 20th year in a row…let’s ride
I think if our new DC can get our D front to apply themselves and take ownership of there positions we could pretty good .
Yea, I don’t know how anyone could have watched that second half by Emory in that bowl game and confidently thought, “THIS is who we want leading us in 2025.” I like the kid, as a person, but this is business…nothing personal. After 20+ years of disappointment we don’t have time to be worried about hurting someone’s feelings.
