It simply has to be Butch. This hire is too important to leave to chance with unproven coaches. We can afford another 3-4 years of mediocrity while an unproven guy learn the ropes down here. Not with FSU now being a Juggernaut, UF an OC and a Qb, away from being the same and UCF winning big bowl games. With Butch we know exactly what we are getting. The worse case scenario is that he leaves in a few years without winning the big one but team is stacked with talent. He's done that twice in his career at two different schools. I repeat, he's done that twice in his career at two different schools. Talent is what this football team needs more than anything else and Butch is the only one that we know for sure who can bring in that talent. We'd be fools to pass up a sure thing. A bird in the hand is worth more than two in the bush. As for his age, 60s years old Larannaga seems to be doing fine, so does 60s years old Saban.
 
Butch will sign immediately, is proven, and will bring in the recruits.

Also, we can go ahead and hold our press conference before Golden's just for LAFFS
