OC Coley

I saw better route combos and more drags/slants and throws to the middle of the field, which I like, but I'd say the jury is still out on Coley as a play-caller.

I want to see him call a good game against a real team.
That IMO was the smart thing about having a bye and two cream puffs. It was a great time to fix any problems

I hated how Coley kept rolling Morris to his left vs Florida but in retrospect it was necessary to move the pocket to keep Morris from getting killed. Florida's D-line is no joke.

I think his play calling has improved on a week to week basis.

Morris has a much better skill set then Williams, but our offense seems to run at a better pace with Williams. Not as much of the staring back at the sideline for a play

williams has played well but lets not forget, they were against bad teams. he has def improved tho.

he has called good enough plays to outscore the opposing team, that's all we can ask for. The Florida game is a little concerning for some of the posters on here, but try not to nitpick, it was a sloppy game and there was no need to open up the playbook imo.

Whole ACC schedule left when we haven't really shown anything offensively, and other than a bone bruise and a separated shoulder, we're completely healthy going in. Looking forward to this offense lighting it up next saturday vs GT's D

James Coley will prove to be an upgrade over Fisch, he already has imo.

He's running Fisch's playbook with some of his own wrinkles thrown in. The offense is basically in year #3 and all of the key players are a year older along with the O-line. Saying a guy who has taken over a playbook another guy designed is an upgrade is a stretch.

Everything I read, said he was keeping much of the same terminology to make the transition easier for the players. I saw nothing about keeping Fisch's playbook. I don't think he's running Fisch's playbook. If he was keeping Fisch's playbook, why would terminology be an issue?

He didn't keep Fish's playbook. That's a dude giving his opinion and stating it as fact.

BS! Yeah Coley came in and learned the terminology and threw the playbook out the door. Golden has his hands all over what he wants this offense to be. Coley may have added some tweaks to it and will call the game his way but Fisch designed this playbook for Golden. You're still just butthurt from the Larry Hope thread. Yes, Golden will tell players to seek shelter elsewhere if they aren't cutting either. For someone who tries to sound smart all the time you sure do come off being dumb as **** more often than not.

lol hilarious.... the level of ****** in this post is GOAT.

You have absolutely ZERO clue what ur talking about Picksix, just let it go.

You are beyond stupid.... Coley used the same "terminology" that Fisch used but for his own "Playbook" to make the transition as smooth as possible, just for this year.

I know the words terminology and playbook are big words but c'mon bro they have nothing to do w/ one another smh

??? Fisch and Coley are offensive coordinators, Golden is a HC that comes from a defensive background..... so why would it make any rational sense for anybody to actually think that "Fisch designed this playbook for Golden" what is "this" playbook??... James Coley has his own playbook you ****n weirdo. lol

and not going to stress over your weird hard on for this fantasy you have over Golden kicking players off the team....smh just come out the closet man.

/ lol Oh BTW I highlighted the last sentence b/c of the irony

Picksix thinks OC's just make up a playbook randomly.... LOL

A OC's playbook is their resume and A HC hires OC's based on their offensive philosophy, which is already cemented in their playbook dumbass

Yeah Fisch just so happened to design playbooks in the NFL and Golden being the forward thinker he is didn't utilize that skill to design a playbook for Miami. Then after two years when Fisch left I'm sure Golden wanted to implement a brand new playbook when Coley was brought in. That's why Coley learned the terminology from the playbook when got to Miami. So he could then toss it out the window and use his own playbook. Golden was a TE so I'm sure he knows a little bit about offense ******. He's a well rounded coach. Who's running special teams Zone? That's right, that would be Al Golden. Golden has his hands all over every aspect of the Miami program. You paint chip eaters trip me out.

Full ****** ahead Zone!

Weird hard on for Golden kicking players off the team? What happened to Dillard? Just a good kid who decided to up and leave?

Zone thinks being an OC is like being a rocket scientist. LOL! What playbook did Coley bring to Miami you mental midget? Did he bring Jimbo's playbook with him? Or did Golden hire him based on his FIU playbook? Keep thinking Golden had all of the offense learn some new playbook rather than Coley learn there's. ******* idiot...

It's easier to teach one coach who does it for a living than trying to get 40 players on the same page with a new playbook. Please tell me what's so different about this offense this year as opposed to last because it looks like the same Tempro offense that was run last with maybe an extra wrinkle here and there.

Like I said you are beyond stupid lol

BTW Dillard quit the team on his own b/c he knew he wasnt going to ever see the field here.... the fact that you think Golden would just tap a kid on the shoulder randomly and say you're out just shows you how much of a F*ggot u are.

Dillard quit when he sat down with Golden and Golden laid the cards out on the table. Yes, he decided it was in his best interest to seek shelter elsewhere when the HC is telling him he won't ever play at Miami. That's how it works. So idiots like you can sit on a message board and claim Golden would never run players off. Sorry you're so stupid you aren't capable of putting the pieces together. This is how big boy programs operate cupcake.

Of course that's what happened....

Al Golden laid you down in his office, on the table, and spoke to u softly while u were taking it balls deep.

I bet you cant wait to have your next wet dream when you go to sleep tonight...

Shake your head all you want to. You won't answer anything I asked because you know I'm right. You don't like me and I sure as **** can't stand your sorry *** so all you got is an insult here or an insult there with very little substance to back up your stupidity. So again, this resume you speak of that these OC's have? You do know Coley wasn't an OC at FSU correct? So did he bring his playbook "resume" from FSU or FIU? You really think Golden had the entire offense learn Coleys resume "playbook" rather than Coley learn his while he was soaking up the terminology? Sure does look like the same Tempro offense I saw last year.

Here's where you pop off with some more Zoneisms to try and cover up your mental retardation.

I wonder where the pistol formation was in Fisch's playbook? He must have just tucked it into the back pocket of the binder and forgot about it.

Obviously to add the pistol formation to a playbook you have to scrap the entire playbook. Duh! God forbid you add a wrinkle here and there that a new OC likes to run. Do most of you really think the offense learned an entirely new playbook this offseason? LOL! That's some funny ****!

Were your ears all purple when you slammed your dopey fingers against the keyboard to puke out that stupid rant? I'm butthurt because I think you're wrong on Coley using Fish's playbook? What a looney tune you are. Enroll in some anger management classes before you start boiling other posters' bunnies.
