If he had Morris's arm, he would start.

Morris has a much better skill set then Williams, but our offense seems to run at a better pace with Williams. Not as much of the staring back at the sideline for a play
Seems like Williams is faster in reading, checking off and decisions. May be more accurate in short passing as well. Boy, if he had Morris' arm......

I think you're right.
Seems simple, but yea, Williams sees the field better.....that's why he makes quicker decisions. With that said, Morris was a lot better yesterday. This passing game flows so much better when the QB is patient.
Our redzone O would be better if line could run block better.
My biggest issue with Coley up this point was not using the middle of the field more on passing plays and poorly designed or maybe poorly timed run plays. I saw us use the middle of the field more against USF so I was happy for that. Still want some improvement in our run game, but as many have said, the OL needs to do their job too.

James Coley will prove to be an upgrade over Fisch, he already has imo.
He's running Fisch's playbook with some of his own wrinkles thrown in. The offense is basically in year #3 and all of the key players are a year older along with the O-line. Saying a guy who has taken over a playbook another guy designed is an upgrade is a stretch.

That is obvious. Isn't it?

his playbook is completely different then Fischs, just has some similarities....
Fisch never had a pistol formation, never cared for Mo Hagens at all, never had a 2 back set in the backfield.
Who knows what else Coley has up his sleave at this point.

Everything I read, said he was keeping much of the same terminology to make the transition easier for the players. I saw nothing about keeping Fisch's playbook. I don't think he's running Fisch's playbook. If he was keeping Fisch's playbook, why would terminology be an issue?
