You have to start giving him his due, he called a masterful game and has done wonders with Ryan Williams as a back up. Now this guy has me wondering how good can we be and look out next year with Olsen and Williams having a year with him under their belt the sky's the limit for this offense. :neonu:

Morris has a much better skill set then Williams, but our offense seems to run at a better pace with Williams. Not as much of the staring back at the sideline for a play

Bicho thinks Williams mentally is better than Morris. accurate, great pocket presence and anticipation of a guy being open, checking down to the flats and short passing game (IMO Morris's biggest weakness.

Unfortunately he can't make all the throws due to his arm strength. I think he can be a fine stop gap one year starter if olsen isnt ready and then let olsen and kaya battle it out.

I'm just say they if you look at where Williams were last year compared to this one, you can tell that Coley had a affect on him.

we finally showed some of the stuff we were so good at last year. i guess they were just holding it back since we really havent needed it.

Don't forget Brad Kaaya, incredible arm, quick release he's the real deal we don't want to lose him to UCLA or USC.

Ryan Williams has a better arm than most think. UTOUGH has worked for him as well.
The ball he threw to Herb was on a rope. he also threw him open on that play.

James Coley will prove to be an upgrade over Fisch, he already has imo.

He's running Fisch's playbook with some of his own wrinkles thrown in. The offense is basically in year #3 and all of the key players are a year older along with the O-line. Saying a guy who has taken over a playbook another guy designed is an upgrade is a stretch.

My favorite play yesterday was SG 4 wide where Dorsett ran an underneath crossing route and Morris hit him for 15 yard gain.

With Morris's arm... defenses will have to respect the deep ball and this will assuredly open up underneath crossing routes, slants, etc.

Agreed. Was pleasantly surprised at his arm yesterday.
