Not breaking news, but…

It's finally time to bring this genius to Miami

Whether Dawson stays or goes - one big Terd in the Tub.

It will take Mario 6 months to find a replacement. Maybe 8.

I've seen enough of his detailed vetting process to know two things: they're not worth a tinkers dam, and he could do as well picking a name out of a hat.

And be done with it.

Then, with an new OC - we have the same problem: Mario.

If he wants to run the offense - then run it!

The pass v run numbers are similar throughout the season. Would love to hear a deeper breakdown comparing the formations we passed out of pre ACC play v conference play. For example, were we spreading the field with speed/talent early in the year v passing out of bunch formations with killa' Cam always on the field in ACC play?

Don’t have time to do the quarter by quarter splits but if Mario was really meddling do you think he would have let a shaky QB throw it on a third and long/goal? Score was 10-6 at that point and a chip shot FG would have made it a lot easier going forward.

I know a lot of you have anger towards Mario right now but use your heads this bs makes no sense.

Dawson is done here at the end of the season.

Not happy with the amount of meddling by Mario and his boyfriend (Mirabal), and his ideas to fix TVD (limit the thinking by speeding up the pace of the game) has been nixed in order to play “complementary football”.

He’s also getting some heat internally for not being able to script plays to start games to get TVD in rhythm. While this is well deserved, you can’t really roast his *** if one of the fixes he’s pitched has been declined. As a professional, he should be able to come up with a scheme (it’s been 5-weeks) to mask some of this **** and he just can’t.

Two things -

^ I believe it’s true that he’s unhappy, but the source is biased. To me, this is a bit of CYA as the season ends on a major thud. Like Gattis, the stink of this type of prolonged failure is brutal for the resume.
^ TVD’s inability to develop as a player claims yet another OC’s career. It’s no secret I have a personal dislike for him, and this only strengthens my criticism that he’s an unaccountable *** clown.

Believe what you wish, and **** all of your mothers.

I didn’t know at the time but he 100 percent did make concessions. Hm being an “air raid” guy made Mario uneasy. The run game alone is a giveaway.
One telling sign for me is Mario moving Steven Field from TE coach to Director of Recruiting and moving Cody Woodiel from Analyst to TE coach with zero experience as a TE coach. We went from an experienced leader coaching NFL TEs to a guy with 3 years of experience as an OL coach at a junior college.

It's no mystery why our TE are just blockers. Just look at their coach.

This is another piece of the puzzle to Mario's vision and design of the offense.

If Mario is meddleling like that I don't blame him for leaving at all. Good luck finding a good OC once that meddleling reputation gets further cemented.
What a shame and what a waste of a great opportunity by Mario.
