Timberlake's misses aren't close
He doesn't shoot in rhythm, and honestly his shot looks off. That's something you see with a lot of these "Scorers" that are athletic as ****, but raw. Saw the same thing with Quan Jones, he never developed though, mostly because he wasted most of his career under Haith.

I need Shane Larkin and Angel Rodriguez to show Harlond and Isaiah how to run this ball screen offense.
Something is missing.

They don't have the vision that those two guys had. Larkin had some of the best vision I've ever seen, he saw plays 2-3 movements ahead. Then again, Larkin struggled early on with it, he came into his own his second year in the system. He was also working with an experienced team that had well defined roles. Injury luck was significantly better. Reggie Johnson was really the only guy that consistently missed time in 2012.

He's got a hitch in his shot, and his release is too low. He also doesn't release the ball anywhere near the top of his jump.

He, Wong, and Beverly all have ugly shots. They fixed (or at least tried to) Walker's shot the offseason, not sure why they ignored the others.

Funny how good Rodney and Sam became once they got hurt.
These guys announcing games don't know anything about Miami.
Rodney could at least eat minutes, same with Sam. They aren't world beaters, but they are experienced guys that can at least eat up some minutes here and there. You need that, especially when you are missing McGusty and Lykes.

Fixing a shot involves the PLAYER spending the time in the gym. It's one of those things in which the coach can tell you what's wrong and suggest how you can fix it, but until you get that muscle memory through repetition , it's not going to get better.

Say what you want, this team doesn't lie down, they give themselves a chance to win. The problem is that they also don't play as clean as they should. Miami leaves at least 4-6 points on the floor every night from missed bunnies alone. Never mind the missed FTs and unforced errors. Miami cuts those in half, that's two additional wins right now. That's why it's so frustrating, this team is so close, despite all the obstacles in the way.
