GA tech got away with holding? lmao we had a year where not one team was called for a hold on us/

Refs don't call holding on any teams anymore. I'm sure GT did get away with some holds. FSU was holding all game too. The one penalty FSU received as an offensive holding call. I went back and watched a replay of the game. The holding on that play was so egregious, the refs had no choice but to throw the flag.

Any idea on his buyout terms?

I keep reading this genius coach/play caller bs on here.

This sht is based on some years as a Memphis coach and lucking himself into a qb that improvised the noles into 2 really good seasons.

From the opener in 22 against lsu it was easy to see that fsu was tamu under Sumlin with Manziel. Please tell me the amount of times that Travis improvised to extend drives to save them.

That’s like saying the wasu coach is an offensive genius.
Because cam ward was pulling rabbits out of a hat.

Dude couldn’t scheme a rushing attack with a running qb and 2 decent running backs and a veteran olone. Touafili is fast and shifty and he couldn’t even screen his *** open. He has enough coming back on offense that know what they’re good at and exploit it..

He got out-coached plain and simple. And he didn’t have a Houdini at qb t save him like he’s had the last 2 years.
It’s been said in a mostly round about way (and I hate to say it out loud) but Jordan Travis was probably severely underrated. I hated playing against that guy because, even more than was typical against our last two decades of Miami defense, he could take a sure fire loss on something like third and long and turn it into a back breaking play. He was scrawny as **** and if you could get a clean shot on him you were good, it was just so hard to do that.

The lesson that should be learned is that any college football qb that is good at college football (different skillset than pro) can really elevate a team. Give them a good ten they can win a national title.

It’s bad for the acc, but that won’t matter in a few years, but actually kind of awesome that Travis propped fsu up when he did and now they are stuck with a loser for a coach.

Here is how I see it, Norweezel has the personality of a rock. He may be a genius coach but if you can’t sell yourself (reason why he can’t recruit) and you’re just not genuine or authentic, you belong elsewhere. Not at a top program, stage is just too big for him. Picture the contrast between the great Bobby Bowden and this cat, weenie boy could not carry Bowdens jock. Last season was his one hit wonder, and could not capitalize on it. The injury was big, no doubt but even with that, they were overrated, not one of the top 4 teams in country, UGA just exposed it.
That’s the kicker he’s not a genius of a coach.

His FSu teams have never been Fizical

Never looked polished

Never executed at an elite level.

Benson was good at running counters and Jordan Travis had a knack for making plays.
