Here's another thought - I'm curious what this does to player development. Specifically I'm talking about the lack of development from players jumping around from school to school and coach to coach. I firmly believe that Martinez got off to a slow start last year because of lack of familiarity with the playbook and his teammates due to lack of practice time together. Last I checked, football is still a TEAM sport.

eliminate the cfp room of politically paid judges - go to divisions and records

The starters and kids who play are ok. They want to pay the kids who say **** this to stay so they have scout team dummies.

Those kids are leaving because coaches aren’t playing them. They play the starters. There is no longer the need to give kids experience because of the portal. They lose starters? They get transfers to fill.

Portal and NIL need to be addressed. Rewind the clock.

Need to move the season up to start mid August and end before thanksgiving. Play conference championships thanksgiving weekend. Then, playoffs will be on or around Dec 10, 20th, and 30th (7-10 day windows between each round) Championship will be first week of January. Portal opens only when your HC leaves or your team’s season is over and closes on the day classes start.

All schools would need to align start dates and last day to add a class or last day to enroll)

Get used to it. This is the new normal for college football. Its everyone's problem now including all the top teams.

The unintended consequences.

Listen, I ain’t got no problems w kids transferring; but, The NCAA granting immediate eligibility has to simmer down. Even when we benefited from it, I didn’t feel it was right. These jits know chit about commitment or loyalty. If they wanna transfer, then there should be some sort of penalty that comes along w it to slow this chit down. Schools are investing a lot of time & resources in to these kids w the assumption that they will be...

What Rellywood said back in 2019, along w/ a lot of other **** pertaining to NIL, Congress’ involvement, The Judicial System involvement, etc etc.

This is what happens when u have too many chefs in the kitchen all postering about what’s fair & what’s not fair creating absolute chaos. Ppl who make decisions r typically dumb af b/c they don’t live by the laws of checks & balances to mitigate unintended consequences. ****, I just read NYJ management said no to Jerry Jeudy b/c they looked at his Madden ratings, as an example.

March-April - ONE portal window (unless you graduate in summer or December)

May-June - "spring practice"

August - summer practice
